I went out for a light dinner. Calamari caesar salad with a rum+diet coke. Not very exciting.

It's Passover. We had unleavened and kosher stuff. Since it's just the kids and me, I cooked with a lot of fun help. ~smiling~

I have a very basic understanding of kosher, but what is unleavened?

Phin, trying to learn something new today

Stuff that won't rise. Try a matzoh. They're horrible.

Really, you're not supposed to have anything that could ferment, except there's kosher wine you're supposed to have on Passover (it's part of a ritualistic asking / retelling of the Passover stories) and matzoh itself is made with forbidden grains, but the grains aren't given time to rise.

It means that it has no leavening ingrediants (stuff to make it rise).

Edited to add:

I had Pizza Hut for dinner.
