To me, it someone told me they felt lost, I would think they were feeling disconnected from themselves, from others, this world. I would guess they were feeling insecure, afraid and not sure how to find their footing again. I think when someone feels lost they feel they do not have the tools to guide themselves, or are not happy with the reality they are in and feel helpless and powerless to change it. I would think they are feeling that their hearts desires, their 'wants' are feeling like they are nowhere in sight. Perhaps some trauma has occurred, a loss of some sort and the person does not know how they fit in anymore. I think when someone feels lost they are not feeling like they worthy, or that they deserve some sort of punishment. It can be like that, I mean, not like it is that. Old imprinting is likely being triggered. Old patterns, judgements are having too much of an influence--not seen and understood for what they are. The person feels like they are drowning in almost automatic ways of behaving and thinking and do not feel they know how to change it. It seems to me it can always be seen as a glass half full situation, there is always something to be grateful fo,r and this sort of attention can help immediately turn things around, help the person feel grounded and more in the moment. Feelings of possibilities, energy become more available to buoy them up and make them feel, 'found'.
