I've had first meetings that were scene. Sometimes I purely want to use someone (and it's not hard to find someone who wants that!). In those cases, there is an unspoken ground of respect, but also a relinquishment of equality. More often, first meets have D/s in the background. We are there as stated equals, drinking our cups of coffee and getting to know each other as people, but if I am interested in someone, a teasing dance and invitation begins. (looks at clock ... yay insomnia) MSS

It depends how do you feel, and how is your relationship going.I can still control him for the first meeting, and also talk normally,for my slave I don`t have to prove that I am dominant in every second, he feels that always.

M/s is what I was aiming for so it has been especially important for to me to make the right choice for a slave. I think it is easier to work with good material to begin with and that means finding out something about the person's attitudes and beliefs before sharing my, and his, vision of a M/s relationship with him. I can't tell if they would make a good slave for me until I've seen the person but there's no shoulds or shouldn'ts it is down to what you prefer for the sort of set up you have in mind and the ability to serve might be more important to you than personality.
