A Personal CD List Challenge - 4/20/2008 1:38:03 AM

Once upon a time on another forum, someone made a open challenge for a person to create a CD length playlist (60-70 min /15-17 tracks)  (or an actual CD) of songs and or music that best represented them at their core.  Not what they liked to do, or their favorite stuff, but stuff that if they listened to the playlist through, they would get a sense of who that person was without speaking to them or reading a blog.  The person at their very center that hardly anyone sees.  The only caveat was that you could not produce a song (writing, playing or singing) yourself.

I'll start things off.

1.) Anger Cage - Course of Nature
2.) Disturbed - Liberate
3.) Disturbed - Hell
4.) Disturbed - Forgiven
5.) Metallica - I Disappear
6.) Jojo - A Little Too Late
7.) 3 Days Grace - Pain
8.) Lacuna Coil - Heaven's A Lie
9.) Hinder - Better Than Me
10.) Seether - Broken w/ Amy Lee
11.) Matchbox 20 - Push
12.) Linkin Park - What I've Done
13.) Linkin Park - Where I Belong
14.) Green Day - Blvd of Broken Dreams
15.) Nickelback - Savin' Me
16.) Breaking Benjamin - Diary of Jane
17.) Breaking Benjamin - Blow Me away

I apologize if this has been posted before.  But these things can be revealing.

This is on thread enough I think. Not my personal thing, but my buddy's son was about 17 with a new GF and off at college. We burnt him this CD :

The Tubes -
What do you want from life ?
Once in a lifetime.
She's a beauty.
Talk to ya later.

There was more on the CD but that quadrilogy was planned and executed, in fact inspired and conspired if you must know.

this play list is a cd i made that describes the spiritual journey i have been on, a couple of the songs are from a local band but one is a cover...but you can hear both on their myspace page...but anyway, i am a very spiritual person and i would have to go with this cd to describe the essence of me above all the other play lists i have...oh yea, the order is important, it is a progression...
