submissive quotes

Being submissive may have put chains on my body, but it has removed my soul from bondage!""A Good Master is hard to find, A good Friend even harder, but both? Defiantly worth looking and waiting for.""It is when you give of yourself that you truly give" -Kahil Gibran"Let not thy will roar, when thy power can but whisper" -Thomas FullerIn heaven all the interesting people are missing. -Friedrich Nietzsche*No one can make you feel inferior without your consent*"Woman was used by the Creator to cast the light of knowledge on man just as the Moon casts its light on the Earth. "The only abnormality is the inability to love." - Anais Nin

"Ordinary life does not interest me. I seek only the high moments. I am in accord with the surrealists, searching for the marvelous." - Anais Nin

"I do not want to be the leader. I refuse to be the leader. I want to live darkly and richly in my femaleness. I want a man lying over me, always over me. His will, his pleasure, his desire, his life, his work, his sexuality the touchstone, the command, my pivot. I don't mind working, holding my ground intellectually, artistically; but as a woman, oh, God, as a woman I want to be dominated. I don't mind being told to stand on my own feet, not to cling all that I am capable of doing but I am going to be pursued, fucked, possessed by the will of a male at his time, his bidding." - Anais Nin

"Thou art to me a delicious torment." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Life is too short for bullshit and bad sex." - Deborah Addington

"Subspace is my perfect paradise vacation from busy-mind... blessed be to the Dominant who can stamp my ticket there." - Elizabeth

"For me, the goal of any of the BDSM activities is to break barriers and boundaries, sending me into a more primal, raw connection...to erase the civilized conventions and attain that connection, space, where there is no skin, no outer layers, but simply raw primal emotion." - Stacey

"In the beginning I was fooled by Dominants who were good looking, had charisma, dressed well, and had that "dominant" personae. I soon realized that these things are easy to fashion. Real Dominance is a deep and visceral thing, something that has nothing to do with the trappings of BDSM." - Sadie

"We all enter this world the same way: naked, screaming, soaked in blood. But if you live your life right, that kind of thing doesn't have to stop there"
- Dana Gould

"Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past me I will turn to see fear's path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain." - Frank Herbert, from Dune"Never apologize for showing feeling. When you do so, you apologize for the truth." - Benjamin Disraeli
A few from my friend:
"This world in my heart as well as my mind is held in is more than just some fantasy from a book, or kink from a website. It's more than just being beaten and told what to do. It's more than just living a life with simple commands and chores. Those things can be achived anywhere. In the work place, in a nonsexual relationship. To me it's a way of expression, and feeling. The best way to get my words out when none have come to my lips, the best way to get my tears out when there is no logical reason to cry, and the only way i know i will ever truely find love."

"A Dominant is more than a bossy guy who likes to have it a little rough or extremely rough for that matter. He's someone who truely knows how to hold control over Himself, His life, His world, and His love. Once one has gained control over these things, then He may be seen as Dominant."

Could you do these old eyes (and many others, I'm sure), a favor and edit your post, change the color to black, and left align?  Paragraphs are very difficult to read when they are centered; your eyes need to return to the same spot at the beginning of each sentence and they can't do that when the text is centered.

Oscar Wilde:

Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead.

Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.

Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.

Morality is simply the attitude we adopt towards people whom we personally dislike.

Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live.

I think that God, in creating man, somewhat overestimated his ability.

Laughter is not at all a bad beginning for a friendship, and it is far the best ending for one.

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars. (one of my favorites)

Women are made to be loved, not understood

To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance.

(ok, stopping there...LOL)
