laser hair removal is a beautiful thing, really, if you can save up for it...not sure if they do it on men, if it will nuke the little spermies or something.

they do it on men. a friend of a friend is a dermo who does it. problem is, i couldn't just pick one area...i'd want the whole kit and caboodle done!

okay. I will say this... With most hair removal products.. When it say DO NOT USE ON GENTIALS It means DO NOT use on genitals..

Examples of such products
Nair
Sally hansons cream
Veet... both the gel and cream
and Anything else along these lines.

While Ive never had the pleasure of waxing my balls (they are on the inside) I did wax my legs once and by wax i mean one strip on my leg and if it hurts that much there its going no where near my cunt. >.<;; OWWIE

also if it helps im not sure if it will it was written for the women but... Im sure it has some effect on the mens

Nair is your friend. Test patch first, some skin is sensative to it and we woudln't want you to burn up your balls now would we?

What John Warren mentioned in His post, Magic, is what i use -- and it does beautifully. In addition to where Dr. Warren mentioned -- you can find Magic at Wal-Mart, Dollar General, and Family Dollar -- it is very reasonably priced.

ANY HAIR REMOVING CREAM is not good for mens genitals

I am going to be very, very dissapointed if I can find information to support this statement. Nowhere on the contatiner does it say "Do not apply to tiny-white boy penis parts." I checked. Twice.

The demo which I observed recommended that a condom be used on the penis itself, but the rest was fair game in the opinion of the presenter.

god i love this thread!

i get it ripped out at the beauticians (brazillian for total hair removal i think) and as far as ive heard men have it done too.  there are some excellent 'hair stop' products to slow down regrowth and with waxing, eventually the hair growth just gets less and finer.  it does hurt a bit, but its not like it goes on for long.

Shaving...my Mom told me not to start shaving when I was 12...I should have listened to Mom! (I will never actually admit that to her...but I will to y'all!)

I am the only female in the family that got a five o'clock shadow on my legs...my Mom and Sister...they could go a week or more...how I envied them!

I finally saved up the moolah, and my Gyno started doing laser treatments.  I was so estactic!  I was giddy with the thought of not having to shave every single day!  It was costly, $200 for armpits, $550 for the whole groin area (Yes, I got a Telly Savalas and love it!) $1000 for upper and lower legs.  Treatments were always fun, my Gyno loved giving out the "happy pills" if the pain was too much...let me tell you, the groin area, inside the labia were very intense when getting lasered...very intense! I am a fun masochist, and my Gyno also being "lifestyle" friendly after seeing the bruises on me, started being quite sadistic with her laser wand.  There were many comments from her at very intense moments for me, she state, "Come on, it's not THAT bad.  Look at your bruises, I know you can take it, and then some!"  Then she would proceed to always end the session with a couple of laser shots at my ass...with no warning...as she just laughed, which used to be a sweet chuckle, and now is an evil laugh!

The only down side to Laser Treatments - check the fine print - its not absolute removal on all people - it's hair reduction! UGHHHH!!

On the bright side, I only shave my legs once a week or 10 days, my armpits have very fine hair that might show up every week or two, and I do continue to keep my groin area smooth daily - it's as quick to shave the whole groin area as it used to be for my armpits - quick and fast.

I will suggest this great shaving butter though - a little goes a lonnnngg way - it's called Melt.  You put less than a quarter size of this stuff in your hand...it does your whole leg and you really feel like butter afterwards - just make sure you wait 30 seconds after applying before shaving - the reduction of red bumps is almost nil when I shave now - it works great on men too - ball feels silky soft afterwards.

Just the thought of waxing my private areas  makes me shudder and not n the pleasurable way either.  I am not into pain in anyway (unless you count spankings) and i think that would just hurt wayyyyy too much.  It was fun however whan my Master shaved me.

I heard that it is a fallacy that it grows back darker and thicker. You are just the unlucky one who got more hair. It is genetic. Anyway, I only shave the bottom of my legs and never ever did the top because the hair is so light and soft you cam barely see any. I shave every day so it takes 30 seconds for all. Lower leg, armpits and groin. I tried waxing but I got just as much razor stubble as shaving.

A good shave gel that softens the hair will help for shaving the groin and doing it everyday. Or something like Nair, which to me is more time consuming than a quick scrape everyday in the shower. Waxing hurts and laser is expensive. These are the only alternative

I shave my crotch (hey, both of my girls like it and I don't mind).  A few lessons learned:

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER get Nair or other such creams on your ballsack!  You can put it other places (above, the sides, even between your sack and anus), but if you get it on your ballsack, it will be in agony for about 5 days.  For the love of all that is holy PLEASE believe this!

That said, I just use a basic 4 or 5 blade razor and gel about every 3 days or so. I never nick anything and never really felt ill-at-ease about it.  After I'm done, I do splash a little baby oil on just to help moisten a little (helps prevent in-growns).

I think this is a "your milage may vary" kind of thing requring personal inquiry and experience.

I slather the Magic razor free shaving stuff on all my pieces parts, avoiding the, head, glans, tippy top, whateveryouwannacallit. I did follow the instructions and do a sensitivity test and then waited the requisite 24 hours. No noticeable reaction.

I put the stuff on and then after an appropriate interval, ~10 minutes, luffa the stuff off with water.

Clean as der whistle. And shaves off (get it? shaves off? <snork>) four hours and 45 minutes from the time required by recent efforts.

If Magic requires 10 minutes, it's probably less-strong than Nair (which is 2-3 mins) so as a result it might be better for the more-sensitive parts.  Nair works, but holy pogosticks will it hurt if precautions are not taken :)

i do a few different things.  I shave the inner part (labia, whatever...which is a paaain in the ass), making sure to use really hot water and hair conditioner.  Out of all the different brands i've used over the past 3-4 years, suave is the best for me.  Then, on the top part..the mound?...i use veet.  i've got it in my coochie on accident and jesus lord it hurt.  Lesson: ignore the phone when messing with delicate parts :)  Also, beware of chemical burn...i got that once too because i missed a spot when i scraped off the cream.  A hair removal neutralizer sometimes works...its like a lotion you put on the area you used the cream on.

Good luck!!

2-3 minutes you say...hmm. When I run out of my current stuff I might experiment with the Nair...

Taking into account all the warnings, etc.
