Seriously...what happened to these mid-west cities? Detroit, Chicago, Columbus, Cincy, etc... They are all infested with crime, poverty, racial issues, etc.. The high school drop out rate in Detroit is near 75%! I mean these cities are literally decaying.

It's nothing to us because we don't know them.

Status: offline 		yeah, heat and free speech really get to guns after a while...now if the criminals would keep their guns in refrigerated, sound proof carrying cases, this type of thing might not happen....

Status: offline 		It's due to additional stress from environmental stimuli. Heat increases overall stress levels, they struggle to breath, pull at their collar, more and more rage inside until a parking attendant gives them a ticket and they miss their something or other appointment. Then all that built up stress is released at whatever focal point annoyed them that day.

It's far too easy to kill.

Status: offline 		when I lived out there, I stopped reporting burglaries.  It did not good, the cops did not want to do the paperwork. So it was much easier to just forget about it, then to persue it.

crime is not unique to Chicago.  we have crime here.  thats the thing- what goes around comes around.   life is cheapened. everyone is as disposable as a used tissue.

Status: offline 		These cities in the Midwest with high crime rates, Milwaukee included have one thing in common. Liberal Democrat Mayors..They all need Rudy to be a National mayor for all cities. He did a pretty nice job cleaning up the mess in New York.

Come on down and I can show you things to make you beg for guns to kill people.

It must be those magnetic triggers and the metalic rings I guess, but some of us are still alive.

See some people have this problem, guns just float across the room into their hands, load themselves and pull their own triggers, leaving the hapless victim accused of murder. Had it happen to someone I know and it is damn hard to prove in court.

Another buddy got shot in the leg by a gun. He swore up and down that it was not chambered. This was a Smith and Wesson I think, so be on guard for those, of course he did not load it or chamber it, it did it by itself.

Isn't technology great ? Now only LEOs can handle the intricacies of modern firearms. Do you feel safer ?

Yes, guns kill people, as such I want as many around me as possible.

Simply because the people finally emerge from their homes and spend far more time outdoors, where they're more likely to interact with each other.

And this was the first warm weekend following a winter that produced far more snow than average, and almost 4 weeks of unseasonably cool spring weather.

Unrelated to the weather, these are also more difficult economic times than we've seen in years. Frustration is high, and tempers are short.

Then add the usual despair, alcohol, drugs, gangs, peer pressure, negativity, and immature emotions to the mix.
