While physical beauty may make a first impression, I think we've all had "beautiful" people become less attractive when they speak. Some times the beauty across the room begins to speak and her lack of intelligence and common sense makes her unattractive. The reverse can also be said. There are women (and men) that you would not normally give a second glance to physically that become the most beautiful in your eyes...their sense of humor, quick wit and big hearts shine through the physical aspects and make them stunning.

I have never approached an ugly woman with the hope that, "she is beautiful on the inside." She could have the internal beauty of a glorious sunset....Unfortunately it is lost and simply goes for not within all of her grossness. Shallow is the new black. -me

Beauty is something that can flit around. You can watch a person go through something and there will be different facial expressions, body language and stuff. Someone really beautiful can look ugly at times and someone not traditionally beautiful can glow in beauty too. I think physical attraction is either there or it isnt between people and it can come immediately or creep up more slowly. There is preference and ideally you get to get with someone who you find beautiful outside and in.

we are everyone of us flawed, this can show up on the inside or the outside. though i've mantra'd that "the cute ones are always crazy" (GT) i've never made this a deal breaker. but i still feel that if the only thing that interests you is the appearance of someone's body, grab some porn or a blow up doll. -just phoenix
