How did you find out about the munch that you attend?

My slave met a submissive on Bondage.com and we went to their play party in Sarasota. At that party we got invited to the local munch. They needed a web site so I built one and in my duties as webmaster I learned of the other muches. When I moved from Sarasota to Daytona I already knew of it.

A combination of friends from the local area, and one of the local organizers contacting me via my Alt profile of the time to give me details on where the local meetings were.

We're snowbirds. While traveling north and south we attend munches whenever we can as there are none in the cities where we spend most of our time. We find most of them through Caryl's Page. Occasionally if we know ahead of time where we'll be and when, i'll write to some people on Collarme and ask about any munches. Most have been very gracious and welcoming.

If I'm reading your profile correctly (I'm not sure if some mistake was made) I attend the same munch as you. (ARM) Not as often as I would like, because of the distance. I'm planning to attend the one that is on the third of next month.

Oooh, I just went on a hunt for one in my area. I'll be attending my first one this next month. It took me awhile to find out about it, I had to keep making requests through several yahoo groups.

When I attended Munches (There aren't any in St George Utah so I don't go anymore) In Las Vegas, The Munches were advertized in the Local Rag of the Area. Being Scope (It's called something else now) and City Life. The Greatest thing about Vegas is that you could go to a Different Munch Every day except for Sunday. Steel

I have never been to one, yet. Fox had attended one in Memphis befor we met, after some online research I believe. We are looking to start one of our own, actualy, hopefully within the next few months.

i was in an IM with someone i'd met online and he suggested a munch group. What a disaster!! A total newbie i asked a lot of questions and was met with a 'you'll have to figure it out for yourself' and what was worse is i found there were two groups in the city one was play only the other was education but you couldn't join the educational group until the folks knew you sufficiently in the play only group to recomment you. The folks in the play-only group were cold, nasty and told me no one could be trusted unless they were willing to play in public. Sounded backwards to me, but after enough of being a pest, they told me to seek a differnent group much further away that would take on a newbie within an educational environment. That's the group i joined. Never quite got past my early experiences so i only attended when the discussion was something of interest to me or to attend demonstrations which interested me.

I had to do a lot of online searching, because all the links that led me to the Augusta area BDSM community were dead or just led to websites mentioning it but not telling how to get in touch with it; this was 2 or so years back.
