Looking for budget loving pervertibles? Haunt your local dollar store for fun sensation toys, clothes pins etc. Cheap surplus stores may have parachute cord which has a multitude of uses since it lies flat & doesn't roll over the skin. Rubber spatulas with a concave surface are great, they cup the ass and make a big slapping sound.

Try tack shops for vet wrap, it is good for bondage if you don't want tape sticking to hairs or want to use it as a blindfold. I paid about $5 a roll for a lovely red, I washed one roll about 5 times before it stopped sticking to itself.

Tack shops carry curry mitts, brushes & combs. I got 3 pronged plastic mane combs for 50 cents each, wonderful for scratching and poking. The crops you get there will be a fraction of the cost of one in an adult store & will be safe to use. They also have buggy whips etc at reasonable prices.

I need to add some more to look for some good price for that kinkables for the poor kink esters. I have had very good luck at big lots in my area not they are in other parts of other people country. I would also check out the local tack shops for horse, tracker Supplies Company, and the local thrift shops for you could by that old and warn out leather coat and they make perfect floggers. Some Army Navy supply stores also may carry hand cuffs, hinged hand cuffs, and thumb cuffs for a very good price. Also check out your local hospitals they will surplus some great things for medical scenes.

This is no longer a past time for the rich. Everyone I know in the lifestyle works hard for their fetish dollar and finding good bargains and inexpensive pervertibles can really help to fill one's toy kit.

Dollar stores are good for paddle ball paddles, take the staple out, remove the ball, voila, a nice paddle, you can run a heavier elastic or ribbon through the ball for a ball gag you can tie behind the head, NEVER put anything in a sub's mouth that could be aspirated and block the windpipe. You can also get ping pong paddles at dollar or thrift shops, cover one side with sand paper, the other with fur or fake fur - FUN!

Bungee and black rubber tie downs can be found in dollar or surplus stores. Buy the longest bungee cords you can find, double them over, wrap at the doubled over end with colored electrical tape, leave the ^ caused by doubling it over unwrapped & you can hang it on a hook when not in use. Remove the cloth wrapping up to where you have created the wrapped handle & you have lots of rubber strings to flog with. Black rubber tie downs are dense rubber and usually have s hooks running through a hole at each end. Again go for the longest you can find, double over & make an electrical tape wrap handle, cut off the large parts at the end where the s hooks are, you now have something that will act like a tawse. OUCH!

I got a dodad at the farm store that's for putting on a leash in order to walk three dogs at once. It's been used to attach wrists to a collar of a different sort, though.

I definitely know the truth of this, whenever I'm home on leave, my kitten and I scoot off to the $1 store. One of our favorite vibrators is a $1 vibrating toothbrush. Love it. Only needs one AA battery no less. Since I'm in the military, getting parachute cord is easy, and it's what I use to make floggers.

Go to a store like Wal-Mart, Target or Zellers in Canada, check the fishing section for teeny little brass cowbells on alligator clamps. The clamps overlap which could cut skin. I took very thin needlenose pliers and rolled back the ^^^^^ teeth. The clamps still work and are great for nipple/cbt. Not sure, but they might do well on labia or clit. But I don't play with females and there ain't no way I am clamping those things on MY clit *lol*. Cost me about $3 and I have had oodles of fun with them. Trying to make them ring by smacking the butt or having a sub wear them during housecleaning and anal sex, apparently taking them off the scrotum during anal sex gives an incredible rush. (Why do I get a mental picture of male Doms reading this with their legs crossed?)

Fishing weights are great to use with nipple clamps. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Hang them on with christmas hooks.

I work as a wholesale manager for an auto parts company, and I have found quite a few items that are similar to the ones mentioned here and in the article proudsub referenced. I get a discount, so I buy things like batteries, locks, chain, etc cheaper than at a hardware store, but there are also some very cheap items (and some expensive) I haven't seen mentioned yet: orings (like rubber bands but come in different sizes, from 1/8" to fit over a nipple to 3" to fit over a wrist), tie straps, hose clamps, auto body trim fasteners (little plastic doodads of various shapes and mechanisms to clip/clamp/fasten/hold), abrasives (scuffing pads, sandpaper, buffing wheels), hose and tubing, vacuum caps (like suction cups, also comes various sizes like orings, brake bleeding kits and vacuum testers are another option for creating suction...), various protective wear (acid gloves, rubber gloves, dust masks, paint respirators, overalls, hoods!...), car wash mitts, funnels, adhesive backed strips, grease guns (using something other than grease as the lubricant), lots of little specialty tools like the flexible three fingered claw retriever for picking up dropped bolts, etc, I could go on and on.

Hell, if you're into making your own gear/dungeon stuff, they have tie down rings, ratcheting straps, fasteners of all kinds you could adapt - using exhaust clamps and metal/rubber hangers for attaching restraints to. And salvage yards are a good thought when considering making larger furniture items - door pull straps, head rests, bucket seats, pulleys... not to mention the possibilities for snagging scrap metal if you or someone you know welds.

The industrial saran wrap we use for shipping comes in huge rolls - width and length.

I also think highly of making your own cuffs/collars using materials from someplace like Tandy, while they're not as polished looking because getting the design/fit just right takes practice, they can also be personalized to your needs/taste, and it saves LOTS of money.

Hi,

Just a quick comment on the "industrial wrap"...I recently got some of the stuff and used it during a scene. The good news: it's wide and does a lovely job. The bad news: it's God-awful tough. Trying to cut through it to expose body parts was difficult and took some of the fun/spontaneity out of the moment. I'm going back to Saran wrap...which is almost as cheap as stealing the industrial stuff from work. :-)

Pretty much, just Domme shop everywhere you go. I got some dog collars at petco in their after christmas sale for $1.50 each. I later saw the local "fetish" store selling one of the exact same ones I bought for $18. I never walk through a store without looking at things and thinking... ok, how could I bring THAT into play. You will be surprised what your mind cooks up.

I love the huge rolls of shrink wrap easily obtained from a moving supply company. Much cheaper than saran, but then I don't have a job where I can get these supplies for free!
Yes, it seems, no matter where I go, My imagination is at work, and I see all sorts of things that can be used in BDSM play. I always have the feeling when I am checking out with the cashier, s/he kinda knows what I am doing!

This is a good example of a daily use of a piece of equipment you should already have in your toy bag as Safety Gear. A pair of Safety Shears.
See http://search.stockroom.com/a479.htm
They call it "Curb Tip Surgeon's Safety Scissors" for $6.00.

What makes them so useful is that they will cut through amazingly thick pieces of leather or rope or surgical tubing, with the curb-tip making it easy to use quickly and safely.

I have seen these types of shears sold with or without colored plastic coatings on the handles. I bought two sets, one with a green handle (easily to see when in a heap with my other toys while spread out on a table), and another with a red handle. The green one I use as I need during play, and the red one I keep in an outer pocket of my toy bag, so I always know EXACTLY where it is if I need to find it in a hurry.

Some of my cuffs and other restraints are buckled and/or padlocked and don't have the ability to quick-release in an emergency. I feel a lot better using them when I also know that in only seconds I can get to the red shears and cut free a sub in distress.

Those are generic bandage scissors. I would be very surprised if they could cut anything other than thin garment leather.

What you really want ( and what I think you're describing with the colored plastic handles/tips) are EMT scissors. You can cut a penny in half with these, so they'll make short work of any leather or rope in an emergency situation. Every well prepared pervert needs to have a pair (or three) of these.

Funny you should ask that, because I know exactly where you can get one.
Try here

They have stainless steel handles and silicon heads. And they come in either red or blue!

Favorite place to look for toys is Home Depot, followed closely by the kitchen and car care sections of Target.

I have in my toybag also, a parachutist's knife. The blade is shaped like the letter 'u', open on one side, the other connecting to the handle. The top of the arch is smooth and dul and can be slid under a rope. Turn slightly and a sharp tug brings the razor sharp *inner* surface of the blac through rope, clothing, leather. It's designed to work with one hand in a pulling motion.

Paramedics' shears are fabulous also.

My safety equipment includes shears, the [arachute knife, having *all* my padlocks on *one* key (and haveing three of that same key! one on my keyring, one on a thong around My neck and one in my toybag.) a bottle of smelling salts, a First Aid kit and flashlight.

It;s amazing how often, when things go pear shaped, that nobody in the dungeon has a flashlight! I keep a charged Maglite in my bag.

If I ever get the money ahead, I'm going to ge one of those shake-powered lights.
