i know exactly what you mean..
i remember my life before Him distinctly.. and it was a truely miserable existence.
i am a completely different girl now to the one who came over to meet a near stranger for coffee & never left.
Not in the least i have found myself complete, content & happily tumbling down the rabbit hole under His caring supervision.

He has been my friend and confident and co-conspirator for so long now, I can't imagine what could or would fill the gap left by Him. He is the last person I speak to before I sleep, and the first I speak to when I wake up. He is the only person I cry with, and the person I laugh loudest with. We can just as happily sit and play back gammon, debate the existence of God, discuss the politics of Republican Rome, or talk about which top my tits look best in. He understands me better than friends who have known me for years.

something tells me He will be impossible to replace ... so I had better do everything in my power to stop Him from going anywhere

which is why I am now going to bake another batch of biscuits to check my recipe is as good as I think it is . . and do an ungodly number of sit ups.

Most of those who've responded have something the rest of us envy so much.

Something that's worth working imaginatively to keep. (And I just love Camille's thought - "I go see him in a few days and I'm going to write him a letter that I can give to him before I go back home").

Before I found what I was seeking, it was threads like this that I drew strength from, indication that what I was looking for WAS out there and sooner or later I WOULD find it.

Well, I can remember, and I can't say that I was completely miserable before meeting him.

I can say that he enhances my life so completely though.

Maybe in that case you just need to take a step back.. think hard about what it is that you seek and find a way to really open your eyes.. Worked for me at least x

Yes I do, and I couldn't be happier than I am right now with Daddy. Daddy and I have been together for a long time and we were seperated for a year, but in the end everthing worked out and i am happy
