Before i met Master, i was seeing a really strict Dominant, i was tied hands behind back kneeling, blindfold on and every now and again He would strike my back with a crop..... however during this session He wished something of me and because he had a slight accent i could not make it out clearly so i turned my head slightly and said pardon Sir really politely and got totally thrashed.....was that the wrong thing too do? cos i thought saying pardon i didnt quite hear that was better than just kneeling there,,but it seems not,,,,its really confused me

It wasn't the wrong thing to do, it was the right thing to do to cause him to thrash away at you. So I take it you didn't ask after the scene what was going on with him and how you should respond next time?

it was a bit difficult as he had punched me in the mouth.......he got very violent......very unlike Him

Well that's nice if you can understand what's expected of you. The problem was that you couldn't understand what he wanted, not that you weren't going to comply.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a psychologist. But ... it seems to me as if it's possible that he is a little touchy about the accent making it sometimes difficult to understand him. When you indicated that you didn't understand, it may have tipped the balance. Perhaps somewhere else that day he had been ridiculed for the accent, or perhaps the accent had caused a misunderstanding that he couldn't control. Then your inability to understand was the last straw. If that was the case, you were the recipient of the pent-up anger he held. The man seriously needs to learn how to deal with that kind of thing. pip, of course this is all total speculation

The Term SADIST comes to mind ever heard of it? I am sure he KNEW you had trouble understanding him and you asking "Pardon" implied you were not paying enoug attention. I know a Sadist inparticular who woulkd whisper some of his commands to make his slave strain to hear him. If she ever asked "What?" or "Excuse me" or "Pardon" she was beaten. The Solution to her issue was to learn to do NOTHING because she did not know what to do and therefor she owuld not be punished for not knowing she was supposed to do something. However maybe this guy was just a dick. All depends on the Dynamic Steel

Dear one, i am hoping that you will realize, if not now, then in time...that He did not treat you well in the instance you describe...that is why you felt confused, because you are offering ALL to Him, and instead of understanding, or love, you were mistreated. I know, and i have been there in that same place, wondering and confused. You have put yourself in His care, and He has a responsibility then, to NOT abuse or mistreat you. Vivere
