I'll start...

She is my Juicy Peach... She's the happiest, most passionate person I know.  She makes me THINK.  She makes me FEEL.  she makes me ACT.... And I do the same for her.  We meet every year SOMEWHERE and hang out.  Last two years it's been Hawaii.  I'm shooting for Africa next year, and she's adventurous enough to do it.

Status: offline 		She is my shoulder to cry on, the number I dial late at night with a broken heart, she is the only one who appreciates chocolate tall cake as much as I do, she was the first to stand up for me, she is the first life I feel I had a hand in changing, she is the one who could most easily build me up or tear me down.

She's there to comfort me when I fall, push me when I hesitate, remind me that I'm strong when I feel anything but. There is nothing I wouldn't do for her.. NOTHING.

he's my bodyguard (or should that be guards my body) when he tags along with me while covering a rock show. we share fun times arguing about politics and the downfall of society to why he's such a video game geek. besides that we have a blast painting the town red like we did on my birthday recently.

i think his mother is trying her best to see us get married.

Status: offline 		'Best friend'. Is everyone supposed to have a best friend? I admit that those two words mystify me, they make me wonder if perhaps I've never understood the phrase. The concept. 'Best friend', friend above all others?Friend that will accept you no matter what? If someone doesn't have a best friend are they lacking something inside or just lacking that connection to a single person?Is it still a best friend if you withhold things, important things inside of you? Can you have a best friend and not be their best friend? As I said, it mystifies me. I don't have a best friend, or at least I don't have one that seems to meet the criteria I think a best friend should have. I simply don't trust anyone to know those secret bits of me and not turn away or have that shuttered look come down across their face. If a best friend doesn't need to know those things then I probably do have one.

Status: offline 		I have awesome friends.  Currently three of us hang out whenever possible - the three amigas.  :)  We're going on vacation together next week.

I have never known such loving and giving people before.  We inspire each other, we make each other laugh, we keep each other healthy, we support each other, and when someone needs help, the others are there.  We are open and honest with each other, and free to be who we are.  In the circle of women I hang out with, one is a Christian counselor, another is a former Jehovas Witness who is raising her son that way, another is gay, loud and hilarious, another is young, bi and amazingly passionate, and the list goes on.   I have never been so fortunate.

<sighs> Like Camille I don't have a "best" friend - loads of very good friends (hey - some of them here), loads of good friends, loads of pleasant friends.

But unlike Camille I'd love to have one really close friend - the sort one might get to marry if she's female. Never been there and it'd be good. <sighs again, wistfully>

Status: offline 		I have two friends. I have ONE best friend, and y'all know him. He is Brian. He is the love of my life and the tower of strength when I am feeling weak. Believe me, he is not all puppy! That is just a role he plays on here. When I need to laugh, he makes me laugh. When I need to cry, he cries with me. When I am in pain, he feels the pain, sure as if it were his very own. He brought me back to life three years ago, and for that I am eternally grateful. How do you thank someone like him? I chose to collar him and give him his fantasies and allow my own to wonder free on him. Each day, he wears my collar with pride and a commitment I have never seen in someone so young. Simply put, he is my soul mate. As I am his.

My other friend is also someone y'all know. Lady Hathor. God bless this woman! She is my confidant, my sounding board and my Dear Abby all rolled into one. She feels the same about me. Although we have not met in real life, there is nothing I wouldn't do for her. Nothing. I plan on meeting her in July. We will sit on her porch and discuss days of old and men so young <s>

She opened my eyes when i thought i was worthless.. She taught me that i was more.. She held my hand and helped me to remember.. The kind of friend to whom distance is nothing & for whom love knows no boundaries.
