For the mistress here and the subs if they are collared:

If you were to collar a slave 24/7 that needed to be collared discreetly how or what would you use?

One idea that I have heard of is a lockable anklet that fits into the socks nicely.

I have seen some collars that could pass for everyday usage but would like more links if you have them.

Any ideas welcome.

There is also the option of not using a collar or a physical object at all.

In reality any physical object is a representation of the committment between owner and slave, right? So its really a matter of finding something that works for both of you.

So what do you like to wear, what are you comfortable wearing and what does the other person have to say about this? You figure it out together.

I actually had this question up on one of the forums awhile back. One of the suggestions that I got and liked was to get a special key chain for the boy to carry at all times. Right now, though, when our boy can't wear his chain he carries it in his pocket. He wears it when he is at home, and puts it into his uniform pocket at work. Let me see if I can dig up the thread - it had some really good suggestions.

I would agree that just because you are collared, doesn't mean you actually have to go and wear a collar everyday. To me being collared simply means you have taken your relationship to a higher level than just casual play-partners. If you need a symbol or something a ring or something would be nice and discreet.

Fox has a keyring with my initials on it as a signal he is mine -- my house, my keys, my slave, etc.

We use a collar when we are doing something formal, more formal than everyday 24/7 stuff. It also keeps the collar "hot" in terms of sexy for both of us. Though I'd be thrilled if he wore one all the time I don't think it is very practical right now.

The Emperors New Clothes...come to mind.

Place the most beautiful collar around his neck, woven and spun from silk and leather so fine that it is invisible to those not worthy to see!

Just make sure you stop at the collar...unless of course you are giving a lesson in humility? The Emperor learned a terrible lesson!

All debate on the "need" for a physical collar aside...

I bought pet a celtic knot ring--knots to symbolize our lifestyle (we're not 24/7 at this time, btw) and his being tied to me and by me. No one noticed anything awry at work.

In my case, I work in law enforcement (no neck jewelry allowed.) The answer that my master and I have come up with is a collar for when I'm not at work and a bracelet for when I'm in uniform.

That would be the issue with our new boy. Although with him being male, I think a bracelet might be noticed a bit more on him than it is on you.

Our male servants who were novitiates or dedicants (not yet bonded or with us only for training) and who worked in the outside world or needed to, for other reasons, be discrete about being attached to us typically wore a tie, clipped with our house sygil as a tie-tack. None were bonded, but the standard for those who become bonded to the House is a permanent marking--either a discrete tattoo of the House sygil in an area commonly always covered with clothing when at work or other "touchy" places, or a discretely placed piercing with the House sygil as a "charm".

I do use an actual collar with my 24/7 slave. In its most basic form it is a series of ID bracelets I linked together. It is not locked on but the last link is a heavy jump ring that takes a pair of wire cutters to open. It's long enough to be worn under his work shirts without showing much but not long enough so it can be slipped off over his head.

You could use a watch with an inscription on the back (Property of ______ [your name]). No one would consider a watch out of place at all, and the inscription on the back marks him as yours. Another possibility (if he is someone that you plan on having a VERY LONG commitment with) would be a tattoo hidden under his clothes (_____ Property or just use initials PO_ _ with a celtic knot sybol around it).

This is something i've been told is in my future...the Benevolent Bych who has taken me plans a large tattoo in gothic lettering on my back stating Property of Mistress ____ (not sure if She wants Her name used here).

One of the many things i'm looking forward to.

The one I'm considering is in a very professional position where a ring or necklace might not work. This is a LOCKING kind of masculine anklet that I'm wanting to add a charm that says be good (found on same site)

What about a tattoo where the anklet would be...something like a chain that has a lock with your initials or name?

I as a sub male tooa Mistress wears a pink rubber arm band like all these see people wearing now a days ....know one would realy know what that means only those involed
