Yep, welcome to England! We're currently paying somewhere around the equivalent of US$10 per gallon of diesel, slightly less for unleaded. Prices have gone up something like 20% in the last 6 months.
Good point about the coffee, though. We pay about US$4 for a cup of coffee that lasts a much shorter time than a gallon of gas!
