If it was a genuine attempt to get feedback from their target audience then the open board isn't the place to do it. Simply ask some of the people who are in that target audience but who aren't in your 'search' to give you their opinion and make alterations if needed.

If you haven't got such people you can ask... FFS get out and make friends, not every minute of the day has to be about "the search"(tm)

Personaly I see it as more "lookatme" behaviour.
