Mercnbeth -> An 'Informed' Opinion... (4/28/2008 9:27:02 AM)

Something to keep in mind while reading the 'Off Topics' section of CM...

stranger was seated next to a little girl on the airplane when the stranger turned to her and said, 'Let's talk.  I've heard that flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger.'

The little girl, who had just opened her book, closed it slowly and said to the stranger,  'What would you like to talk about?'

'Oh, I don't know,' said the stranger.  'How about nuclear power?' and he smiles.

'OK,' she  said.  'That could be an interesting topic. But let me ask you a question first.  A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff - grass - . Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse produces clumps of dried grass.  Why do you suppose that is?'

The stranger, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence, thinks about it and says, 'Hmmm, I have no idea.'

To which the little girl replies, 'Do you really feel qualified to discuss nuclear power when you don't know shit?

It is a very easy answer.

The Digestive Systems of each animal in conjunction with thier Lower Intestines and lastly thier Sphinxter Muscles.

*I cheated I called a Vet*

You got it...

For those who have trouble with connecting how the the digestive track contributes, each animal named has a different reqirement out of their fodder and extracts differing amounts of water from it or adds water back to it. Cattle with their 3 stomachs tend to add back more digestive juices so that  things mmoooove along.

Camels on the other hand....and watch out ..never stand behind a Tiger, or an Elephant.

Elephants are just not that good at telling what is behind them when they let go...but Tigers? They are evil..Evil i tell you. A Friend of mne and I were at the circus Ringling Bros in NY when you could go down and see the animals in their cages while waiting for the show. We were about 6 feet behind the Tigers cage (roped off) He opened his mouth to say "look" and the Tiger demonstrated deadly urinary aim.  I swear I hear the tiger snickering...or maybe that was me...
