Its not about the words, its the context.. For me, as with others, its the context.  Anything he calls me during a scene is a term of endearment.  My humiliation tends to be inwardly driven, if I do something totally idiotic and he points it out, I feel the humiliation because it's already in me.

When my daughter's father calls me a bitch as I'm escorting him out of my house because of his uncivilized behaviour, I take it as a compliment.  It's all in the presentation.

It's the word "my", not what comes after it... as in, "my slutty bitch."  If the words come without the "my", it turns me cold, as in, "you are a slutty bitch." 

In the first instance, I am doing whatever he wants (and that "he" can be just a temporary play partner), and the farther we are going from what the typical "good girl" does, the better.  It's a headspace thing; I can open my soul and be a very "bad" girl because "he" allows me to, "he" is making it okay, and "he" is keeping me safe.

I agree, its the 'My' that does it for me ..  or when he says to me  'what are you to me? We use fucktoy a lot, which I think has a good ring to it [;)] I love everyone else's responses though, and I definitely think context matters. We don't use the "my" a lot, but when we're playing sweet, it's angel, and when it's naughty, it's fucktoy or slut.
