johnbainum -> sub training (4/28/2008 3:16:06 PM)

Hello, I have done some bondage through out the years, but finance kept me away from expanding my activities. The person I was with I trained myself, but had a stroke & died at work.

I found an interesting sub, but my question is can more than one Dom train a sub .

Thank you

Every Dom a sub has trains her / him. Eh?

SteelofUtah -> RE: sub training (4/28/2008 4:00:58 PM)

I am just wondering how someone trains a sub to do anything other than serve the one training her?

I can't train a sub how to scrach a back cause not everyone will like it the way I do. So I can only train her how to scratch MY back and if I am going to the trouble to do that I don't want her confusing me with some other back.

The whole Training thing is often a nice way of saying I want all the control and none of the responsibilities.

Just my Belief

What you might consider doing is having an expert train you together.  If you are interested in bondage, off up your slave for it and learn from the expert.  Your sub should not lose respect but gain it, knowing that you are careful to keep them safe until your expertise has grown.

There are times when different Masters teach different things to the same sub.  However, this tends to leave the sub preferring one and can lead to confusion on how best to please each one.  It takes an exceptional sub to do well under those circumstances.  (I know of a case where one Master asked another to teach his sub how to give head since the original Master had an erectile disfunction problem - plus he was a voyeur.  The sub preferred the Master that she could have sex with, and the original partnership disintegrated.  The second Master had no interest in her as a regular sub because she had so many bad habits, so she went from two Masters to none.)

It's a form of a poly relationship, one submissive, multiple dominants.

Usually its something like "this one is Daddy, this one is Master."  But us perverts can concoct any combination of interaction.

The answer is "Yes, but it comes with complications."  Jealousy, contradictory commands, scheduling conflicts...

If you meant at different times (Can one submissive move from dominant to dominant) the answer is still "Yes, but it has complications."  Old habits may have to be broken, new ones learned.  Even subtle changes, like how he would breathe in before a strike, and how you breathe in before a kiss...

"Complications" are not a deal breaker.  They just take time, patience, and communications skills to overcome.

Well if only the ONE can train, then all those butler schools, Valet Schools, massage Therapists schools, Medical schools, Law schools hell schools in general must be some kinda scam. Because obviously until you find your eventual employer, partner, etc you can't learn anything worth while.
I personally consider the whole retraining is ahrder than training to be a cop out on both parties side.
I've worked for different companies and always seemed to figure out the differences in the way things were done and adapted to them, adapting to new situations is what human being do.

antipode -> RE: sub training (4/28/2008 6:38:20 PM)

If they have a stroke after you train 'em that's gonna be hard.

Thank you Sir, well said.

i sought out taining, while i waited and looked for a Master to be with. i was open to finding someone but i wanted to wait for my son to graduate from HS and move out. i also changed jobs for one i felt woud be better suited for me as a slave, i downsized from a house full of stuff, paid off debts, and then i finally moved from a small country town to a larger city, that all took some time.
while i was preparing myself with jobs, material stuff, finanical concerns and family, i did not want to not do anything in waiting to find a Master.

So i found respected Doms/Masters/Tops and subs/slaves also, to help develop my skills and abilities. i learn and watched and praciticed with them. It was not hard to tranfer my skills and knowledge from one style to what my Master prefers now. It was easy to learn his ways since i already had a base to work from.

The skills i learned in formal dinner service in SC with a couple i served there has been use here in our montly formal Master's Dinners, yes the style has been tweaked some by my Master, but it was easy to use what i leraned in SC here in DC.

peppermint -> RE: sub training (4/28/2008 7:46:05 PM)

I don't care how many Doms are doing the training....I will NOT learn to jump through hoops.

DesFIP -> RE: sub training (4/28/2008 7:50:49 PM)

I'm still stuck on too poor to buy a couple of hundred feet of rope over time but rich enough for a computer.

Whenever you ask, is this possible someone here will say they've done it. So now the question becomes, since you know it can be done, what exactly do you want to do?

MadRabbit -> RE: sub training (4/28/2008 7:59:19 PM)

Juggling?
Dealing cards?
Making better martini?
Proper use and cleaning of a firearm?
An athelitic program?
Proper way to march and salute?

Someone please....tell me....what do all these training programs consist of?

Post....after....post....of ambigous references to the mystical "training"....

Am I not part of the inner circle?

Did I miss my copy of the BDSM 101 Secert Handbook that clearly defines what everyone on the Internet is training these people to do?

Every training thread I read, I feel like everyone out there apparently knows something I don't....
