I thought "Sir" was the reason rural small towns still existed?

I have to agree, I am addressed as Master by Mine regardless of where we are or who is around, and to my surprise, people for the most part either don't care or don't notice. the few that do usually start asking questions trying to understand what and why. We live in a town where there are 12 churches for a population of 6000, most o them being Baptist. I expeced far more issues than we have, considering we live Master/slave openly.

I would go with  "Captain."  Then he could tell you to "make it so."   Is it bad that i thought a TNG group i was told about was a Star trek club and i was super excited?

Seeing that half the people where I live call either Reverent or Colonel, both are correect and the odd person involved in the Art magickal will refer to me as "The Master" in pub;lic and when refering to me when talking to others, I dare say that few would even think twice. In the beginning no one raised eyebrows and not it is jusrt custom more than anything else.

If his first name is Raymond call him Ray .

But you doesn't have to call him Mr. Johnson.

I second that opinion!  Kudos to you batshslom.  And I am not surprised
to see that subtee picked up on it.  Very nice ladies!  (pun fully intended)

Oh geez... I admit I had to think on this one a bit to figure out why it sounded so familiar.  I wasn't a big Red Foxx fan.

Yes, but Saluga primarily played the Ray Johnson character on Sanford and Son (starring Red Foxx) and Red Foxx's variety show... neither of which I watched much as I wasn't a Red Foxx fan, thought I occasionally caught an episode.

The reason I ask, is we live in a rural small town, and even calling him Sir, or Daddy is not feasible without drawing attention.

Small towns like that can be a problem, but you need to become more comfortable with your choices in life, and care less what others think. They gossip only because they don't understand. Shove it in their faces and enjoy it ;) Mine calls me Master often when we're in "public" but not around people we know. There she'll call me various things dependant on mood and my tone to her. There's been a few times I've given her a direct order in front of friends and she just said 'yes, master' and went about it. They were like 'we always knew you were a manwhore. now we know it' and sighed, lol. Dominant is as dominant does, everyone knows what I am, even if they don't admit it to themselves =D But we DO try to keep it reasonable. And petnames are the best way to do it in front of family, which you could consider your entire town to be from how you posted. So what to say then.. I call her precious, she calls me nar. It's her own lil made up word, she's had it forever. It's sort of a word that means "i want to say something I can't say here", and it tends to get tossed around a lot when we visit parents, hehe. I think we had an entire conversation consisting of that word once, and while my parents thought we were crazy, she couldn't wait for them to go to bed....
So you have to find what works best and grab hold of that and treasure it like you do him, that's all that really matters. Their name, a pet name, or a made up word, all have the same power when used properly.
