sorry to butt in on your question Level, but it makes a huge difference for me who it is. some joe blow off the street could poke me hard in the arm and i'd tell him to fuck off. now, a Dom who i was in love with and committed to, could poke me hard in the arm and spank me and a few other things and i'd like it, especially abrasion. it just says to me that if i love and respect him i can take a lot that i wouldn't normally be able to take from everyday people. oh hell, i can't explain it really, if i don't love you fuck off, if i do love you give me road rash!

Not all "sufering" is physical pain. Although you endure the pain for him, perhaps it is that you are willing to "suffer" that is your masochistic satisfaction and there are other forms of suffering that would be as rewarding for you?

Hmmmm, I can take more pain than I like to. For someone who welts REALLY well and has a pretty high threshold of pain, I don't like receiving it that much. Mistress found that out recently on Her trip to see me last month. I am, however, an extreme sadist for a subby. I think I could own a pain slut strictly for stress relief. LOL
