I was cleaning out the garage (putting a metal shop in it) and the guy that lived there before me left all these huge barrels of Amber malt extract....... long story short, they are quite hard to move... its more stiff than painful now, (been about 36 hours) but still keeps me from gaming :(

except that the only barrell I got on its side sploded (all over my favorite Pink Floyd shirt too!) they wiegh somewhere in excess of 300lbs I think

Harder to convince people to call in sick for work to move heavy crap then say, to play video games :P but no worries, at least the garage is clean, and saturday I can go get the materials for my new workbench and drafting table

indeed it will be... already have a mini-fridge, microwave, and tv in there too!... not to mention I get a perfect wireless signal on my new laptop and the garage will soon be the best room in the house!

I thought about putting a wall through 1/2 of it and turning that area into a playroom.... but I want a good place for wielding and a tablesaw.... decisions decisions...

dont use quite half, or better still is the attic space above your garage used for anything? finish it out and make that the playroom

To MoG - Thanks... I figured everyone had forgotten me by now :P To Phin - Jan 1st... with my job I can afford the rent and all the bills on the house solo, but as my roomate is a family member and good friend, I cant force him out. (not to mention he wasnt the slightest bit offended by any of the toys my new kitty has dragged out into the living room) had to put shelves in the bedroom
