Status: offline 		BSB and I met face to face about a year ago, she is arriving in hours and I haven't seen her for three months, VERY VERY VERY hard months.  I want to thank everyone who has said nice things about us and for the wonderful community that is CollarMe.  We met on a fluke, she was too terrified to contact me as I seemed so formidable but I posted something about my fleeting romantic encounter and how it reminded me of how happy "puppy love" can be and how I wanted it to be part of my life.  Seeing a softer side of me she took a risk and emailed me. I almost blew it after a few emails because I blocked her  thinking she was a guy (she was reticent about talking to me on the phone).  We worked things out and I now have a woman who is rather perfect for me, not perfect as in no flaws, we both have our share, but in that we compliment each other amazingly well and make each other very happy.

SO, I ask those of you out there to take a risk, email someone, flirt, be vulnerable, risk your heart.  Connections CAN be made, your soulmate IS out there somewhere.  It worked for us, so take one giant risk in celebration of our anniversary and flirt with someone you think is amazing but can't imagine being interested in "little ole me" and post that you did, you don't have to say who, just that you tried.  I can't imagine any more fitting way of celebrating our anniversary or our happiness. 

PS, she arrives in about three hours!

   First Congrats to both of you, you both seem to complement one another here anyhow, and make quite an adorable pair. I must say I took my risk just a few days ago and it paid off big! So I celebrate your anniversary a day or three early but celebrate I did. I am wonderfully happy and cannot imagine why I waited so long outside of the fact that I know myself..... Wishing you both a very happy anniversary....

Michael, Id like to say to you, sir, that when I first came on CM and was reading a lot of threads and posts, I got what I since realized was the wrong impression of you. I thought you were cold and arrogant. I since have come to realize that that is not at all the case. I admire your openness, good will , sense of humor and willingness to share your experience. It also retaught me a lesson that I seem to need to relearn in life.

I also admire BSB and your relationship and , again, wish you both the best.

On April 27th andi and I shared our 2 years together Aniversary and on the 16 of June we will have been married for a year. It all started because I told her I couldn't "JUST" be friends and we talked for hours. I had met her at an event and gave her my number. She was the first girl that I persued in nearly 5 years all the others had come to me.

I took a chance. I decided I was going for it no matter how hard it might hurt.

Look at where I am today.

The above is VERY GOOD ADVICE........... Take It.

I'll admit I sometimes miss the arrogant old 'Crappy Dom' persona I enjoyed debating with so much. But it is a small sacrifice for the relationship you now enjoy!

Good thing for both of us that BSB has the same problem with her eyesight as beth does!

i recently took a risk myself & have been very happy & have no regrets...sometimes you just have to throw caution to the winds, say this feels so right & go for it, no matter the potential cost.....
