First thing that came to mind... its a definate punishment kink to have your nose rubbed in it... now isnt it?
Fox is on my furniture rather regularly, and as long as he refrains from chewing up the decorative pillows, I dont see a reason to change than. AS for the toilet... Id prefer they use that, I dont have a front yard to walk them in, and I am certainly NOT cleaning out a litter box!

If one could train a dog  to use the toilet, I'm sure most pet owners would.Why a Master would want a slaves poop in their yard is beyond me??

Now that all depends on WHERE outside you pooped and pee'd. front lawn, yeah you'll get into trouble, but if you did it in a private back yard I doubt you'd get arrested.

Stormgrl has the correct idea.  It's not that bad being a human dog.  Besides, there are all different kinds... just like with the four legged variety.  There are Sport Dogs, Lap Dogs, Guard Dogs, Working Dogs... all kinds.  They are always happy to see Mistress.  They adore her unconditionally.  They try hard to please her.  They gratefully receive rewards and painstakingly endure corrections, but that light in their eyes never fades. 

Dogs will always win out over CATS!  *bleck*

As far as "using the toilet" is concerned, it depends on what fer. Be specific, guttdammit !

Nobody said the slave would be shitting on the furniture, ( ok so a few joked about it, but nobody was serious* now perhaps you ment sit? I don't know. And on a second note not using the toilet don't mean you're gonna be shitting on couches and floors an rugs, Ever heard of squatting in the back yard, or doing it in a bucket? Or a litter box. if you illiminate the toilet, that does not only leave furniture to shit on.
