Hey, people, how is this possible? It says that a certain person viewed my profile on April 10...but the last time she was online was April 1! Make-a no sense. Has anyone ever noticed a quirk like that before?

There is a profile setting that lets you choose not to be seen on the list or your own profile by last known date. It helps to cut down on trolling.

That doesn't explain it, I don't think. If you click that option, it just doesn't say when you were online last. But it says when this person was online last, and it was nine days before she viewed me. If they come directly to Collar Chat, they can view your profile from here and then return to the message board without ever having visited their home page. Being on your home page is what registers when you were last online. I think, anyway. [;)]

I checked that idea, and that's not what's going on. Her profile says she was last online April 1. I changed my setting to "hide last online date," just to see what would happen, and my profile stopped displaying my date entirely. So whatever is going on, it's something else. Thought it would get rid of unwanted messages...it works to a degree. Anyway if it gives you 5/02/2008 then it is a glitch.

Today (5/3) I came directly to Collarchat and viewed your profile by clicking on your name here in the forums. You will notice that I show on your list as having viewed you today, but I haven't been online since yesterday. You can always check this woman's profile here in the forums to see when she was last on Collarchat. Edited to add: There is another possibility. She may have your profile bookmarked from an earlier visit... but she would have shown up on your list as having viewed you previously unless she bookmarked it prior to that feature being added.

I did test the theory by viewing my losttreasure profile before posting and it does show the disparity in dates just as you described.

I haven't contacted CM, but in addition to what Treasure said above, it could also be that she logged in on 4/1, and has not logged out since - just kept the window minimized. I do that often. Though, I'm not sure what date appears on my last on date either.
