Do or woud You play with newbies? If yes, is it because You feel how else would one go about getting experience without having the opportunity or something else?

Who I chose to involve myself with is based purely on what I think of that individual, whether or not they interest me, etc. Being new has nothing to do with it. Sometimes someone new is easier to deal with, since you don't have to overcome the expectations some one with a lot of experience often has (based on their own past experience). Then again, I don't simply "play" with someone, I'm not looking for nor interested in just play partners.

In some ways, experience is over rated. Yes, you do have to understand what it is your doing along with any dangers involved, but with that said, there is no reason not to just have fun and explore.

If anything, I would believe that there would be more players out there excited by the prospect of palying with "fresh meat" than the opposite. If you really have come across a large selection who are unwilling to play with a newbie, you've run into a statistical oddity.

I'm not terribly experienced as a top myself yet so I can play on their level without wanting to go much farther. Sure, I would play with a newbie, no problem, as we were all in that place once upon a time. Would I do it because "how else are they going to get the experience?" Well, no, that wouldn't be the reason - I am not the only glass of water in the world for a thirsty person, if you get what I mean. I would play with someone, newbie or experienced, because they inspired in my heart the Howlin' Lusties!

Well, we are all newbies at one time. My first Master had to have a lot of patience with me. He was very good in that aspect. He explained eve-ry-thing to me. I learned a lot about D/s and myself. He enjoyed my service. I am grateful. [&o] BIG BUT: I did not know myself. My own tastes, desires, what I had to offer, what I could do to serve, what Domination I needed to thrive, ++++. He and I were incompatible. My potential was an unknown. It was a long term love relationship. Hurts and ups and downs. It had to end. It was a hard place, but time does heal (the old cliche) I was lots of fun. I am much more fun now. I still get that half scared out of my wits crossed with lust - look on my face. I still have lots of "newbie" left. But, now an "experienced woman", I do feel I am a better potential slave. Good Q. Thanks.. fawne *editing to add: I: a nice little girl, was the harder player. Unlike the respondents so far , I do not enjoy those on an expedition or new. In my experience, each and every time I've allowed myself to meet or enjoy a "newbie," I've been greatly disappointed, or exhausted by the encounter. (Or to be more frank...and don't call me Frank [:D]....in my experience the newbies that have contacted me are more searching for kinky sex, over anything else. in case I was unclear in my ramblings: I agree with Frank <ducking> the lady above. I am a bottom; she is a top. Seems clueless men just don't do it for either of us. (Huh. We do have something in common, FTop.) I would hesitate, to say the least.... with a newbie. But, again.. we are all..new at some time. best to all [:)]

It is because some of the people I found interesting and attractive happened to be newbies at the time. Additionally, my preferences tend to lead me to nobiews more commonly than other types of people. The preferences (in part) that lead to this are: Young (18-25) Attractive (for my preferences this is statistically much more common in females about the age listed above) Not bogged down in a lot of BDSM community baggage / politics Knew they were attracted to service all their lives Felt the above strongly enought hat they have not ever really considered another relationship type on a long term basis So I just tend not to be attracted to those with 15 or 20 years in the lifestyle in general because they rarely have all those traits. However when they DO then their status as a novice or not is not a consideration. Of course this is just my own opinion, one of many. And these are just my own preferences, everyoen has them :)
