Status: offline 		Has anyone ever had their senses closed off Completely - blindfold, being bound, gagged, earplugs?
Does it heighten your sensations in a pleasurable way? or do you feel panic?

I personally love sensory deprevation. Everything is heightened for me and my heart races. It is very much a welcome rush. Granted if you were totally knew to these things I would suggest you intorduce yourself to them one at a time, after all you never know how you will react to something until you try it.

Status: offline 		Only once, and yes, it was very, very hot. The reason that's the only time is that i haven't been with anyone to develop the level of trust i need for such a scene.

I personally use sensory deprivation (usually in water) to reduce stress & center myself when making big decisions. Sort of a forced focus meditation.

For pleasure I like using sensory deprivation to heighten awareness. It makes you use other senses to determine what is happening & actually enhances senses to take the place of the one restricted.

Your question actually makes me wonder if you have any claustraphobia issues? Can see how someone slighly phobic would be for frightened by a feeling of being closed in than relaxing to enjoy the heightened sensations.

Status: offline 		My Sub really likes sensory deprevation but not all of them at once. She says she can focus tighter and get heightened feelings from doing this but it takes some time and she needs to build up to it. For instance I'll have her bound and gagged then I'll apply the blindfold. I may leave her untouched for 15 min or more before I start anything. Then a small feather barely touching her skin and moving very slowly around her body can send her off. I have to be quite careful to build on only one sense and to do it slowly or she says it ruins her sensations. She can (and does) have some amazing orgasms when we do this.

Status: offline 		I felt panic. But that is just me! Perhaps you could try two then three and progress up rather than leap right in to full deprivation/bondage at once?

"Trust" is the key word for me, too! Almost all of the "good stuff" will include some form of bondage but gags and blindfolds etc come later rather than sooner. It's not so hot if she's unable to just let go and relax and enjoy - and that needs time to develop....

The very 1st time i was involved with this when my hands and feet were chained i felt nervous, the gag little bit more nervous, blindfold again more nervous and so on. Only thing i was aware of was the floor beneathe my feet as i could feel a slight beat from music that was playing and i could smell inscents. Everything else was a nothingness. i was sure i would start to panic, but just the oppisite happened. i felt incredably safe, relaxed i have enjoyed this very much many times.
