It seems there's often an active thread on collarme about "should I come out to my wife, husband, etc.?" The most recent one got me thinking about the book When Someone You Love Is Kinky by Dossie Easton and Janet Hardy. To me it seemed that the most powerful aspects of that book are the letters people wrote to their loved ones about being kinky. After reading some of those letters, I got the guts to come out to some of my friends and I thought maybe writing or reading similar letters would be of help to members of the collarme community. I contacted one of the authors to see if she had already set up a similar site or knew of one and she said "no, why don't you set one up yourself?" So...I have:

Is there someone in your life you'd like to come out to? Here's an opportunity to write them a letter about who you are. You don't ever have to show them the letter, but you may find that writing it is worthwhile - for you and for others.
