I have a thing: I like men wearing shirts (among other pieces of clothing of course, lol) when I first meet or look at them. What is up with the nude pics, nude tops, and frequently from people who don't look very hot at all. What is wrong with a little mystery, and putting one's best foot forward? Is being "real" overrated sometimes? What say you women, and men? What do you prefer in terms of dressed or undressed photo on profile? M

Hmmm... let me check something... the pic I took of myself and sent to a few people on CM... is shirtless : the day I took the pic was really hot and I was simply not wearing any shirt, I didn't pay attention and made it simply to show what I look like. OK, now I'll make a good pic with an unbuttoned shirt on (and take those stoopid glasses off). Ah, now I undertand why Dommes are not fighting to get me :p. In fact what I really need is a pic that shows my incredibly well-shaped butt, then there should be some fighting [:D].

For awhile, I had a shirtless pic as the main photo in my profile. I never got any feedback as to whether it was better than my previous pic. Still, I reverted back to my original, fully clothed picture as my main pic. I like it better, actually. The shirtless one is still there if one were to push the 'photo' buttons, and I think I look okay in that one, but the clothed one gives a better idea of what I look like for most of the day. Bob

I voted for suggestive and classy. What I have seen that I like even less then the naked chest pic is an old photo that looks like it was taken 15/20 years ago. I saw one this morning that looked like he just cropped his family out of it. Tacky!

What I fail to understand even less is the number of men who are online, and have found way to BDSM personals, but tell me they have no photo online, and don't know how to get one, so that they'd need to mail one to me. It always conveys image of nonsensical, crazy stalker type, so needless to say, deal breaker. M

LOL. I agree. I got lucky with my pic, though. They're from my engagement sitting for my wedding photography in May. The photographer was awesome and cheap, so I just happened to have some cool new pics. Other than that, it would be hard for me to find one that I wouldn't have to photocrop a keg and some old friends out of.
