Im going to rant BIG TIME here.

Whoever the shitheads are that decided the 1st eace of June would be the last FOX race are total morons.

NBC does a shitty job in the broadcasting. Fox does a HELL of ALOT better job.

Not to mention not everyone has cable so the races on TNT cant be enjoyed by ALL.

Today was like a death.

This is my first post...I think ever on this site so please don't beat me. But I have to brag. My friend from Denver is coming to visit in 29 hours and next Sunday we will be at Pocono. Yay for us!

I agree with you Mistress. I've lamented the end of the Fox race coverage for years. I have to say, mostly because I like Fox's broadcasters and I've been a DW since long before he became a broadcaster. He's the reason I love racing as much as I do now.

Gwyn, I do agree with you. My "goal in life" is to get to Daytona, nothing will ever compare with that for me....especially from an RV in the infield. But this will be the first race I'm actually going to, so I'm more excited than a virgin on prom night.

I can only dream of ever being in attendance of ANY race. Daytona AND the Brickyard would be fantastic.....BUT.....since a series of strokes 12 1/2 years ago certain octives that cars emit during a race make Me passout. Have fun at Pocono. IF you ever get to either race Gwyn have fun for me would ya?

I hope I am not being rude, but could you wear hearing protection MistressK? That's probably my biggest concern about Pocono. Other than the rain we seem to get every weekend. I know what you mean re: Dale Earnhardt. At Daytona when they rolled out his car I cried like a child who lost their pet.

you arent being rude at all. I could wear the ear protection that is used at firing ranges( called ears) only thing that would work. But then Id look like an idiot with those HUGE things on. I hate looking likean idiot.

*chuckles* that was my plan for this year.. and RV spot infield.. but my sepration from my old job and my break up killed it finacialy for me.

( new job has no Nascar ticket freebees.. or perks of any sort... rat bastards)

yeppers.. the yellow Sprint/Nextel ones... You'd be sportin!

I would also go with someone really on the ball just to be on the safe side to keep you safe, and from stepping out infront of anything dangerous with out being able to hear.

I hate the size of the headphones.. but they are cool to listen in!

Kasey is coming around.  That is good to see.  The only thing I don't like is the dumb commercial in his blue and pink jammies.  lol
