So all you Wii-y folks, is there a place that rents them out? I'd like to try but not buy because I'm shy and may cry![:D](actually its cuz I'm not sure I could physically manage it and would hate to have handed over that sort of money and not be able to use it)

not rents, but you can go to almost any game store and play with the display model :P

they have better straps.... go to your local gamestore :P
(of course I realize this is tounge in cheek, but oh well, I got to say the word strap in an innocent way today :P)

I had heard that when the Wii first came out, TVs were being hit all over the place because of the controller slipping out of the hand.  They put wrist straps on it, but they broke easily.  Now they have better ones.  Still, movement around Mr. Big Screen makes me nervous.  Not my idea of fun, heartpounding excitement. [:o]

Congratulations on your vanilla usage of the word "strap" today!  You deserve a cookie! [:D]

This girl is not sure if you can rent the wii or even the wii fit.

Mario olympics is brilliant but makes your arms ache and also your sides... from laughing so much.  The PS3 might be superior in its graphics and games but the wii is so much more fun!!!!  Even alysia's grandmother loves it!

The funny thing is that in the UK the Wii is being installed in lounges in Care Homes for the oldies to get them used to moving about while having some fun and apparently, they love it.

I think that is really cool.  I like the idea of getting little blue-haired ladies playing bingo on the Wii.  If two of them bingo at the same time, there should be a side game on the Wii bingo game of Mortal Kombat to see who gets the prize for bingo-ing.  The way those old ladies play bingo, you'd swear it was a fight to the death...like Mortal Kombat.

Next thing ya know, Richard Simmons comes out with a new workout video game..."Are Wii Having Fun Yet?" [:D]

i would love to get a wii but just finding one is like winning the lotto .There is very little supply out here in Arizona atleast . They have signs and buy in for them at the stores .Come on  ninnytendo MAKE the dammed things already , the control of supply and demand with the product is the only thing keeping me from buying one .And Yes i am getting ps3 asap when the 80 gig is put out with the metal gear solid bundle pack with dual shock controlers  in july .Heck the blue ray player feature alone is almost the cost of a ps3 .

I don't really understand the point of this Wii thing: the reason we play sports on the computer is so that we don't have to run about surely?[8|]

christine1 -> RE: Wii Fitness (5/4/2008 8:44:22 AM)

i don't know about fitness on the Wii...but i do know that i suck at tennis, in real life and Wii life.[8|]
