DrummerDom -> Journals don't do paragraphs... (5/5/2008 5:35:05 PM)

Is this a temporary thing?  Is this something that effects everybody?
I made a new journal entry yesterday and I can't get a page break in there to save my life.  The journal entries seem to be auto-formatted (I type with two spaces after a period, but the finished product has one space after a period)

Is this an option I need to uncheck?  How can I make a journal entry that isn't just one huge block paragraph?!

If you read it in the "edit journal" page, it will all run together.  Read it from your full profile and see if it makes a difference.  Also, be sure to put two spaces after the last period in a paragraph, and then hit enter twice.  For some reason, that seems to make a difference.

I'll give those tips a try.  Thanks.

Didn't work for me, that script seems to lose line feeds.

Spaces don't really work right either, some people use ~~~~~~~~~~ or --------------, something like that but it never comes out right.

But I'm not bitching as long as it works. They'll get around to it I suppose.

Actually I noticed the same thing when you go to a profile and mail from there. If you respond to a mail it is different. This sounds like something in the program that needs to be tweaked, it might not be easy. I say fuck it, it works. Maybe they do too.

In the profile though of course you can just end the entry and start another, that would give some seperation.

Eventually I think they'll fix it.
