This is good news and cool stuff. Thanks for sharing.
It'll be interesting to see what the maintenance costs are for these turbines over the long term. If they're around the same as or less than the rates they've previously paid for getting their power from the grid, this may be a good deal. Plus, they may be able to sell their overage back to the grid, putting a little coin in the community's coffers for that inevitable "rainy day."
Yay for Rock Port for proving that we can get off the steenkin' foreign crude, one small community at a time.
