We have had tons of rain this Spring.  We've had flooding, and we've had tornados come through and kill a few people twice this year already.

Hey, weather is weather, it happens and defies the forecasters ideas, any change from the norm would be different to say the least.

Over here in the UK, it is one of the British passions, talking about something beyond our control. Yesterday it was one of the best days so far, warm and bright which caused many to think spring passed in the blink of an eye. Much talk of summer is here, guess what, today it was cloudy and raining.

The weather I now just ignore, what it is it is and that is that, just dress for the part.

Reference your feeling the weather is doing something odd, could that just be you are now more aware, since the scare mongers have told us all the doom to come ?

I've noticed the weather changed, ever since the tusnami in 2004.  I know the weather changed slightly in California.

Haven't been in the middle of the country long enough yet..so I have to rely on the faulty memories of the locals here.

As long as we've been here we were told we lived through the worst winter in history.  Last year the temp did not reach above something like 12 for 6 week's straight.  The worst ice storm in history.  It knocked out power to something like a million homes, the last person didn't have electricity still in the 9 month range after the storm.

Even this winter..we have the most snow on record for something like 30 years.  The only thing I know is it is about 30 degrees under normal on most days.  We are in May and our average temperature right now is about 50 degrees.  The real average should have been 50, 3 months ago.
Spring did hit though last week we had 2 days of normal temps.  It got everything out of hibernation so we have some green on the trees.
So, odd yeah I find it odd.  Sort of like my wind question..

older or people with injury notice weather more. not so much temp, but barometer changes.

as to talk- it is a safe topic that all can talk about and, it isnt so much about the weather but- "i am here, and so are you, and i recognise you as part of the village".
