I don't believe there is one "pure" form of submissive. Some draw from Judeo-Christian hetero gender-based roles. Others draw from military hierarchy. There are many sources.

At the same time, it's the stereotype of hetero gender-based roles that leads me to avoid identifying myself as submissive (preferring "bottom" and "masochist"), although there is certainly a lot of submission in what I do. I am also a girl, because I love the dynamics of Daddy/girl, and I'm a slut, because I like to revel in my enjoyment of sexuality.

But you also seem to be asking what is kinky. Anything that deviates from mainstream pop-culture sexual culture is kink, regardless of how they deviate.

Is submission something perverse?

if this is how you define perverse, then NO

1. Directed away from what is right or good; perverted.
2. Obstinately persisting in an error or fault; wrongly self-willed or stubborn.
3. Marked by a disposition to oppose and contradict.
Arising from such a disposition.
4. Cranky; peevish.

is submission about sex or about giving?

there are some who only submit in a sexual connotation and some who submit in every other way but NO sex, and some who do both.

quote:

What kind of submissive are you?

TOTAL. this slave has submitted every facet of her life to her relationship with Master, hence the use of the word slave.

Is there a "sterotype"?

sure there is, and then there are those that purposely go out of their way to blow that stereotype out of the water---whatever floats yer boat!
