Man cold : (noun) a tiny touch of a virus which consists of "sniff" "cough" and other silly shit that has the host (him) totally convinced he is in the process of dying while his wife/sub does her best to cure the headache she has given herself from constant eye rolling.

I'm going to whine on someone else's behalf... Yesterday being mothers day.... the children of two different wonderful ladies I know from the chatrooms did not call their mothers at all. One of these ladies tried to call her mother to wish her a happy mothers day and her mother didn't have "time" to talk to her. There's nothing more important than family. Nothing. Make time for your family when you can because you never know when you'll end up regretting it.

[;)] Seriously...in 25 years in practice, I have to admit that I have seen more of my female patients come in with their backs in such a state that they could barely walk and, when asked to give me a number on a scale of 0-10 what their pain level is, they will say a 6 whereas a great many of my male patients will walk in with the same problem and, when asked, they will give their pain a 10 rating. When I remind them that 10 means that they should be over at the hospital, they say something along these lines "well yeah, I thought about going there...but I haven't got time...but it's a 10, Doc." Not true for all women, of course...nor for all men...but as a general observation of quite a few through they years, it holds up.

my ex had a cold one time.. granted, it was a brutal cold, but it was still just a cold. the first day I was being all nice and stuff. halfway through day two and my response to "HONEY!! I don't FEEL good.. could you bring me a magazine??" was "your legs ain't broke..get it yourself...." this happened to be at the same time I had the flu and some of the worst cramps I've ever had...
