Time to stop lurking and become a bit more active. I'm 36 and just finished a BS in Laboratory Science and moving to Northern CA in a few weeks for a promising position in a medical Lab. I'm taking a week to drive from NY to CA and see the sites along the way. But with gas prices I might just be better off driving it strait. Looking foreward to having a real life with free time and income to pursue my hobbies, it's been way to long for all of them. I'm fairly active online and always looking for freinds so feel free to message me, but I should warn you, I do bite

I made the move to Chico, CA two days ago. Gotta get used to this strange flaming ball in the sky that everyone here says is something known as the "sun." We don't see much of that in Upstate NY. Three hour time difference is making adjusting difficult as well. Still CA is really wonderful, I think I'm going to like it here. Lots to do inside and out. Howard
