I find these days,I am very much a fan of the former...where the domme can take a long period of time to do as she pleases,the uncertainly buzz is a lot higher...with a pure hour with a domme,you pretty much know what is coming as its what youve requested...I think dommeing of the future is going to become more extended hours,longer sessions.There will still be a market for a quick whipping of course....but a long session would generate more money for the domme and perhaps be a more memorable experience for both....which way do you think this will go in future?

How would a one hour session differ significantly from a multi-hour session except in length? Wouldn't you still "pretty much know what is coming as it's what you've requested"? Why can't you book a multi-hour session right now if you want?

I never really timed my sessions....if I was having fun, the play kept going, there wasn't a meter running. Though I do know some pro dommes that certainly do charge by the half-hour....

Well ick...!!!; the financial transaction angle took the gloss off this topic for me, but since I'm here anyway....

Many moons ago, I had this brilliant idea that because my girl wasn't interested in the football game I specifically wanted to watch, the pre-match entertainment would consist of hogtying her naked bod and leaving her on the coffee table nearby while I enjoyed the game....

The washup of it all was that not only was the game seemingly over before it began, but I could barely remember anything of it because my focus was almost entirely on her doing "nothing". Same for her; the almost 2 hour duration of the game (and her predicament) passed seemingly in a minute or two - except she was a bit stiff after.

So a lesson was learnt - when I truss the girl up during TV time, I *record* the program I'm "watching".... I've also found that specifically tying her up just to enjoy her vulnerable helplessness is probably my favourite "scene" - Topspace personified....

I didnt reply initaly either because of the whole $$$ angle. But for me both scenarios have thier good points, a quick one hour session can be good for me if we are having a heavy impact/pain session because that is about as much as I can take. Or it is wonderful as a tease, like a preview of what is coming, that will have me in a state all day waiting.

A long session for us essential when bondage is involved because it puts me way into subby space and him in top space and if it finishes to quick we both end up feeling ripped off and the drop for both of us is huge. And I find the long sesions for us always involve a great depth of emotion and the closeness after is so special

I'm going to ignore the money side of things and just reply from my own personal experience.

When Master plays with me it can be anything from a quick 20 minutes to hours long. When its a bondage scene I am left feeling unsatisfied when it is under an hour long but when it goes for hours and hours I am left sore, stiff and can't move well for a few days so we find a balance and he keeps me tied up until he knows my body can't go much longer or he changes the position that I am in. For strict or predicament bondage the shorter scenes can be a lot more fun as I am not left so exhausted and sore afterwards.
