you have to admit it -was- kinda a silly thread. Ignore an entire state's worth of people because of several bad experiences? Seems a bit over the top, especially considering the fact that people move in and out every day. To say that an entire state is a bad place for WIITWD is pretty amusing.
As for the Mods moving the thread-- that's their job. They put things where they think the threads are more appropriate. Of course it's political. People interacting, in my view, produces politics. This site couldn't be otherwise. You'll notice, though, that they're equally likely to move a thread posted by someone who's been here years if it is in the wrong spot as they are someone who just joined. I'm not a huge fan of moderation, but as things go, this site is amazing. Within the moral climate of the time they show incredible restraint, and while I disgree sometimes with their choices, they're egalitarian in what they do.
I'm sorry your first (I think) thread here got such negative reactions, but it -is- pretty silly, and doesn't exactly offer an amazing introduction to who you are and what you do.
