You can't actually say that all subs from North Carolina are bad. There are good and bad everywhere, just as there is good and bad vanilla people all over.

LOL! So if I understand this, you call others idiots but want them to write you and show respect. Plus you think you can delete your original post after it has already been quoted by others. Looks to me like it's the pot calling the kettle black while trying to hide the evidence he's a pot. Plus you start the post with the namecalling then warn others not to do the same. That's just soooooo cute!

Too bad you're not trying to be funny, but it looks like the joke is on you and you are already getting exactly as much respect as you deserve.

you have to admit it -was- kinda a silly thread. Ignore an entire state's worth of people because of several bad experiences? Seems a bit over the top, especially considering the fact that people move in and out every day. To say that an entire state is a bad place for WIITWD is pretty amusing.

As for the Mods moving the thread-- that's their job. They put things where they think the threads are more appropriate. Of course it's political. People interacting, in my view, produces politics. This site couldn't be otherwise. You'll notice, though, that they're equally likely to move a thread posted by someone who's been here years if it is in the wrong spot as they are someone who just joined. I'm not a huge fan of moderation, but as things go, this site is amazing. Within the moral climate of the time they show incredible restraint, and while I disgree sometimes with their choices, they're egalitarian in what they do.

I'm sorry your first (I think) thread here got such negative reactions, but it -is- pretty silly, and doesn't exactly offer an amazing introduction to who you are and what you do.

Just so everyone will really know where the wannabees are, their site clearly states Vancouver BC! imagine my disdain when i found this out as one of my best buds is from the Victoria/Vancouver region.
I do wish more Doms would out themselves here so maybe we could just put a tag on all of their posts for later searching, entitled something odd like "marmalade" or "macroeconomics". Then we just clue in all the newbies to the secret word ;)
