Felix the Cat (1953 version, not the 1920s one). That cat with his bag of trix was pretty cool. He affected my ideas of what was cool or not. Tom Teriffic (1957) was a pretty smooth dude even though he used to get in a lot of trouble. Clutch Cargo (1959 - 65) because like my dad, his dad took him with him on his travels and had a pet dachshund too. Q. T. Hush (1960) because of he remained smart, calm and deductive amidst chaos. He affected my ideas of what was cool or not. i liked Felix the Cat a lot. so much so that i named my first cat Felix. the only other cartoons that i liked were the Flinstones and the Jetsons. my childhood was one of chaos.even my choice of cartoons, reflects my then need for some normalcy in family.
