how hot is the chocolate?. If you are taking it directly off of the stove or out of the microwave you may cause a very serious burn.

I'm paying attention to this thread because it sounds like an awesome idea.

What about that chocolate syrup that hardens once it hits the air? Sounds like regular melted chocolate might be too hot, but that you could warm up just a bit in the microwave, and you get the same results as a candle (though a bit tastier I might say)

The chocolate syrup that hardens actually hardens when it hits COLD, not the air.  So you would have to apply ice first...

Havent heard of that kind of chocolate... I was thinking somewhat like chocolate fondue kind of thing. I know with wax you somewhat control the temp but how high up you hold it but it has to still be a liquid when it hits...... could also do some interesting things with strawberries.  You know ... tie the sub to a table .... drizzle a few different types of chocolate on her... add some fruit.  Could make a cool centerpiece.

The kind that hardens is sold as an ice-cream topping.  One brand calls it "Crackle" or "Krackle", I can't remember.  It's like getting a chocolate-dipped cone at an ice cream parlor, and the chocolate hardens up on the ice cream.

If you try chocolate "almond bark", also called "candy coating", which is sold in bags of round wafers or solid bars, you can melt it and then stir it until it is cool.  It maintains liquidity longer than chocolate that is not made for candy-making.

Offers to coat cali and have her for desert. Wax melts at a lower boiling point than chocolate.

There is an easier way to do it that will be Burn Free but could take QUITE a while to make happen.

Get a Para-Care Paraffin Wax Melter and you can use Wax or Chocolate I suggest you get Two if you want to go from one to the other as it is hard to get completely clean each time you use it.

The chocolate take 4 to 6 times LONGER to melt then the Paraffin does but it is worth the wait as the choclate is warm and soupy but not Buring hot as it will be if it comes out of a Double Boiler or the Microwave. DON'T RUSH IT NO MATTE WHAT as it will ruin the ending product.

Also Paraffin is in my opinion the BEST wax for extended EROTIC wax play as it is not very hot at all and hardens QUICKLY and it comes off easily (The Skin anyway it tends to soak into Fabric USE A DROP CLOTH)

Chocolate is MESSY and MUST BE CLEANED THROUGHLY as it can get caught in bad places and the Sugars can clog pores and make a breeding ground for Bacteria.

INSIDE THE LABIA OF A VAGINA IS A BAD BAD BAD PLACE FOR CHOCOLATE! **Please don't learn this for yourself it is not a pretty sight**

Finally I suggest anyone who is into sensation play purchase the above product from anywhere you can find it (Mostly at Beauty Supply Stores) because they are AWESOME TOYS and very erotic to work with.

Actually, from what I understand (being a bit of a baker)- chocolate has a very low melting point.  The melting point is determined (mostly) by the type of fat used in a particular chocolate.  You don't need a lot of heat to melt chocolate, and could definitely melt it in a bouble boiler to a liquid consistency that would be pourable without burning flesh.   However, it would not solidify when poured on a person's body, because the melting point of chocolate is slightly below body temperature (think about how chocolate melts in your hand when kept there too long).

This will work but not what I would suggest (See Above Post) However the Almond Bark that calli suggests is one of the best the only one better is Ghirardelli and use their CONFECTIONS Brand if you can find it, it is usually onlu used by Choclateiers.

The Cone dipping Choclate only solidifies on the body if it is cold 97.8 degrees is not cool enough for it to "freeze" so it usually us just as messy as Chocolate Syrup which again if Microwaved can cause 2nd or ever 3RD degree brurns.

BE SAFE

The ice cream topping will not solidify on the body, true, but also, you don't heat it up unless it's very cold in your house.  I'm still pondering the possibilities of ice then the topping...

oh hell, what's wrong with simple hershey syrup?  if you keep an unopened can at room temp it shouldn't be all hat hard to warm it in a bowl of warm water, pop the top open and pour away!  why make things more complicated than they have to be?

Cuz I hate the way hershey's syrup tastes.  Actually, I'm not a big fan of food on the body, but Ray has my mind wandering and wondering now...

I am big into the food and body thing.  I love it!
Agree with you totaly on the hershys syrup thing.
I also know that choclate manufacturing controls the melting temp of the chocolate but they are real big on keeping a lot of the ingrediance a secret... probably why American chocolate sucks so badly... to high of a meltig temp that keeps it from properly coating the mouth...lol

ice can sometimes hurt just as much as wax! and it takes longer to feel like that so it's a slow torture. I'm taking a trip to wal mart tonight, I don't think I'll be able to resist!

You can buy Gulf Wax - Household Paraffin Wax at most stores that sell canning supplies or candy making stuff.  We've always used it in making certain holiday candies by mixing it with chocolate.

Not sure what the ratio is though as it's been awhile, but you can do a search online for it and get some ideas.  It probably wouldn't get really hard, but you could always add a slightly higher amount of wax to chocolate.

Hershey choco is just plain nasty!
They do make a thing called body chocolate, available at fine sex stores. It's quite tasty. Otherwise I'd just making a chocolate ganache, fairly thin, and using that. Use a good quality chocolate -your sweetie is worth it!

You don't use melted chocolate.  Chocolate syrup, warmed up, or better yet.....Magic Shell

This is the yummiest thread topic I've read all day. And just think about how much more fun the clean-up will be! Hell, if we use dark chocolate I might even get Sir to switch places with me for awhile.
