I am sure everyone has seen the many news items about the US Military using the technique known as "waterboarding" on prisoners captured in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am just curious if anyone in the lifestyle is familiar with, used, or seen waterboarding used on lifestyle slaves of subs???

Considering that waterboarding is a form of torture banned by civilized nations ... i would pray that people within our community have more sense than to "play" with such a hot potato. However, if you ever do get caught by police with a waterboard in your dungeon... consider this... the U.S. Supreme Court sanctions such activity as vital to national defense. You could claim you were just being a good citizen!

Never have, don't believe I ever would , but good question. I agree with steffie that it is banned for a reason. One may want to play with their pet but not make them go crazy.

This is what Waterboarding is: (from http://en.wikipedia.org) Waterboarding is a form of torture that consists of immobilizing a person on their back with the head inclined downward—known as the Trendelenburg position—and pouring water over the face and into the breathing passages.[1][2]suffocation and inhalation of water, the subject experiences the process of drowning and is made to believe that death is imminent.[3] In contrast to merely submerging the head face-forward, waterboarding almost immediately elicits the gag reflex.[4] Although waterboarding does not always cause lasting physical damage, it carries the risks of extreme pain, damage to the lungs, brain damage caused by oxygen deprivation, injuries (including broken bones) due to struggling against restraints, and even death.[5] The psychological effects on victims of waterboarding can last for years after the procedure.

Before it was a commonplace term , they were doing it on Insex, probably close to ten years ago. Breath play doesn't interest me, so I have no strong opinions on the matter.

It's a huge fantasy for me. And I'm getting closer and closer to getting things up so that is possible if MsK gets into. I think water is sexy. And I like painful sex and breath play. Hehe...right on. All I know is everytime I book a hotel it has a hot tub in the room for a reason :) PS Holding someone's head under the shower spout works well.

This intrigues me, as all extreme things do, but I don't think I would do it~~ other forms of breath play are more interesting. Liking Libby's idea, as usual![:D]

As iv'e neally died from playing with nylon hoods........and water,i should say ban all such play,but i won't,it's still for myself one of the best turnons around.As for waterboarding........yes,but be damn careful.
