Yup, definitely given superglue some thought... Whenever i've actually gotten up the nerve to try it, though, i discover that whatever tubes of it i have around the house have solidified. The stuff is such a pain in the ass. Not everyone's skin is the same... i've discovered through my other hobbies that my skin is generally indifferent to a wide variety of solvents, petroleum distillates, and strong detergents, although mucous membranes are a bit touchier... As far as my arms and legs go, the only things that have really irritated me are "aircraft stripper" and muriatic acid. So i'd personally play with superglue as a restraint without too much concern. A dozen rubberbands hardly seems worth the effort of loading the gun... You may as well hold one end of a band against the bottom, and snap it repeatedly with your other hand... ...However, i think this http://hackedgadgets.com/2008/01/16/disintegrator-rubber-band-gun/ would be worth having just for the "what the fuck is he going to do to me with THAT??" expression the first time you pull it out
