Status: offline 		I try hard not to complain publically -- here on CM anyway, about submissive men, but this one just got me...

I have just encountered the 5th submissive male who's former dominant up and moved to London!

Its amazing isn't it?  What's the draw?  Should I go too?

Anyone else thinking of moving there?

The submissives in London must be very happy with all of the D's who move there from the US.  Then again, I hear that many of the British Dommes run off to Brazil.

Maybe there's another explanation of those 'disappearing Dommes'.

Status: offline 		Ad theres also the ones who's Mistress decided they were really vanilla and got married and left them high and dry...
Or had to move to a different state for work and they couldnt travel to be with her...(which amusesme since I am usually not in their state either, so traveling to me is out of the question too by their own logic)

Status: offline 		Actually,my former did die in a car accident but what really kilkled her was the stroke previous to wrapping her car around a pole.No sympathy necessary...she was a lover of life and would have wanted me not to wallow..and so i am here.

And whilst we cant possibly know the stats for Domme death rates vs other women, I feel its fairly safe to assume that were the number of bereavements discernible from the many contacts received accurate, then being a Domme must be on a par with military service in war zones in respect of risk. And we know from the fact that many posters here have been posting for years that such a leve of risk cannot be accurate, or we'd be losing one poster every month.

Yes.. the key here is, I rarely believe anything anymore.  What I don't get is, what's the point?  In any case, the last few I've had have sounded so far out there (their stories of previous experience), more like fantasies than reality.

But yes, being a dominant female is fast becoming a risky job, along with king crab fishing in the Alaskan Sea...

It's heartrending to think about the havoc and misery these utility companes and ISPs can wreak upon innocent lives. I mean, it's no different than a hurricane or hemorrhoids, right? Anyway, I firmly believe that tragedy makes us stronger and that's why I am here--to become stronger yet.

Status: offline 		Thank you Lady Ellen for your kind words.Unfortunately,i can only control what is in front of me.Maybe in a skewered way,everyone else who gets their rocks off fibbing is forcing me to go that extra mile for a Domina..not that i wouldn't anyways but one can no longer think that a Domina in today's society will just be like a 1950's housewife and believe everything that comes from someone's mouth.There have been standards set by amazing women who just happen to be Dominas and that is what we as subs should strive to attain..those standards.

Status: offline 		Difference being, Chezzy, that I somehow doubt that you start correspondances to new dommes teling them you are looking for someone BECAUSE your Lady died. I find that distasteful, whether or not it is the truth.
I have had significant others die and after I grieved I moved on. I have never even considered telling someone "Oh, I am looking for a new boyfriend becuse the guy I was was killed and I hate being alone". Like with a lot of other things online, those who really do live/do/enjoy things are looked at differently becasue of the number of peple who lie about and fake those same things. Crying wolf doesnt just damage YOUR credibility, but it makes someone judge everyone else by standards not relavent to thm necessarily.

Status: offline 		You are right DV...i have never brought up the death of Mistress in any intro i have ever made.I just took exception because there are some of us whom have lost their Doms,Dommes thru death and i certainly don't like being told i am using it to find another and seek sympathy.

Status: offline 		Cheezy, I hope you understand that very reason is why it is so 'easy' to use the plausible story.  It sucks that some would use that as a way to live a fantasy 'past' to get in with someone who has a bit more experience under their belt.  I'm not as gracious about it as you.  It's a terrible thing to lose a partner, BDSM or otherwise.  Those who feign the experience, to Me, are quite apprehensible, but I have My own logic for that.
