Just got a nice pedicure today.  I try to keep my feet pretty whether I am with a foot fetishist or not!  Although my favorite pedicurist at the salon I frequent does seem to be a bit of a male submissive...the women who work there tease him about enjoying his work a little too much.  [:D]

Thank you Hathor!  I really do take pride in them, which is why I get so icky about other "pros" working on them.  SOmeone would have to really want to treat me or convince me to try someone before I'd get a pedicure.

I do all that just for natural foot care. I don't particularly have a fetish.

I'll just have my metrosexual moment:
for chipping nailpolish.
I've had very good results with my ex.
we would start with a bare nail.
give it a Rough filing
then cover it with 2 coats of color.
allowing enough time to dry between each coat is important.
after that a top coat of something that was called "hard as nails" clear coat.
WHILE IT WAS STILL WET sprinkle the diamond dust.
then put a second clear coat on.
it is important to have a nice smooth single stroke to insure the polish is smooth and doesn't clump up anywhere(especially with 4 layers on you don't want it to look like it has 100 layers of paint on it)

if done correctly 3-4 weeks without chips. (regularly she would need to repaint her toe nails every 1-2 days due to chips)

and whats sad is I wish I could have even enjoyed this ritual. I didn't it was purely selfish and I was tired of her wasting time repainting her nails when we needed to be somewhere.

Attention for the feet is great...expecting us all to want the same kind of attention...nope.
My feet like attention...tickling, massaging, reflexology, acupressure, etc. People who think they give good "foot rubs" are often pretty damn clueless, however. (I've had a well-meaning sub take a foot in one hand and a book in the other, and try to please me with split attention.)

But clipping my toenails is something better left to me...after all, if I clip off more of my scarred sub-toenail/calloused claw toe pad than is actually needed for comfort, I don't bite anyone else's head off.

Now, someone willing and able to do the work on my feet that gets harder every year (folding myself in half gets harder every year, for starters; and doing it without having my reading glasses fall off my nose so that I don't prune my toes bloody is even harder)...that I keep hoping for a local foot fetishist of the sort that was drooling over my habit of wearing bare feet in my leather Birkies most of the year. He wanted to keep both my feet and my Birkies in order, sigh...drool.

But, like so many other long-distance subs, he really falls into the HNG category...if I don't chat, he doesn't play. Grrrrumpy dommes make great tops for heavy bottoms. Good thing there's a party this weekend!

I try to take good care of them, its not on the top of the list though, but I have the appropriate shoes for it that an ex with a huge fetish bought me, so I took a pic and put it up in my profile as eye candy. Hard to find anything nice since I wear childrens sized shoes.

A children's size 4 shoe usually is the equivalent of about a size 6.5 or 7 women's.

Same here.  That's why I like girls' shoes better -- they tend to be a wider width which is a godsend to my poor flat-as-a-pancake feet.  Of course you have to make some concessions on styles, especially for work, but goddammit I can still wear Hello Kitty sneakers, bwahahahaha!!!!

My wife recently got one of those "pedegg" things for her feet. (They're advertised on late night cable TV) About the size of a computer mouse, they have a very effective and safe foot rasp on the bottom of them. These things are WONDERFUL! I'm planning on take one of them to my Domme's home next time she calls me for a bit of pampering.

Ugh no. I haven't had a pedicure in ages. Just today I rammed a toe into the corner of a door and later found out the tonail was crunched in the middle and it's all bloody. (it really didn't hurt that bad but it sure made a mess) Yuck!

Ok-thanks for letting me get that out. I'm going to schedule a pedicure this week. I've had it.
