Okay, somebody please explain this to me.  What does it mean when it says that someone is "Lesbian Trans" on the other side.

Does that mean they have man parts and dress up in women's clothes and they like women?
Does that mean they have man parts and dress up in women's clothes and they like men?

The pics are of a man dressed as a woman.  I've seen this on numerous profiles, but I can't figure out who has what parts and who wants to boink whom.

Men who identify as women/dress like women/transexuals/transgender/whichever who like women. I mean, the lesbian part to me just means it's a trans who...likes women. o.o

maybe they dress up the penis? you know..something from barbie clothes.

k being serious... a transsexual = female (if talking male to female) so why cant they id as lesbian?  if its a cd/tv then yes that is wrong and they cant be lesbians.

as for what parts...if you're looking at her pictures and seeing a "man dressed as a woman" she is probably a pre-op transexual so they probably have male genitals...i rarely see someone who is not transsexual (for me this includes people who never intend to have gender reassignment surgery, but feel that their gender is the opposite of their sex) label themselves in this manner as something typically used soley for someone of the opposite sex...then again, the only way you can know for sure would be to ask...heck, i just read on someone local's profile that they were trans and i had no idea that she used to be a man...lol...is it bad that i want to see how good her surgeons did?

growing up i had a friend whose father was transgendered and denied it most of his life.  made for some screwed up parenting; let alone one mentally messed up individual.  when he finally figured out what the problem was, he was really a she who was a lesbian and lived as such prior to and after reassignment surgery.

Actually that is a very good question. Just saying trans could mean transexual as well as tranvestite. If I were to get into it with someone I would surely want to know.

On a tertiary but related note, I was in jail. It was a misdemeanor and I reported on the appointed day. The place was exceedingly full, and we guys that came that day to do our time were all sent to what was called A1. That was the wing for anyone with gender or sex issues, males that is.

Some of the guys were picking on them, some were preop actually, and I don't know if it was hormones or what, they started crying. When you are in jail they are responsible for your well being. The guards saw this going on and got us all into the day room and actually asked that this stop, and it did.

They came out of their cells and sat with us, something they would not do before. They were polite, "mind if I sit here ?". I was not alone at the table but I said have a seat. And not much more actually, just let the discussion ensue. Now here we got a few "normal" young bucks (or fucks) so it turns into a discussion of sexuality. I don't even remember any names, but I can give a recap of it.

So you gonna have that thing cut of, for real ?
Yup.
Then what, you want to get married or something ?
No, I like girls.
You can't have kids right ?
Nope.
And you are doing this to become a lesbian then.
I guess so.

Not much of a recap, but that's the way it went. They basically integrated with us "normals" and were no longer ostricized or picked on. I think the boyz in the room came away with, at the very least 'They are wierd, but they're OK".

Step one at least eh ? Yes what fun it was to be young, but we noticed that they were not crawling into our bunks at night wanting anything. I did not actively pick on them at all, but I did bullshit with some who did. I don't remember the words the guard spoke, but he sat down with us at one of those stainless steel tables with the uncomfortable seats.

That was a very long time ago. Now they do not segregate. The rules changed about ten years ago. It is now simplified down to if you have a penis you are male. I guess if you are post op you go to the female section.

Now that I have totally failed to answer any questions, and probably brought up a few, I will leave you to go corrupt another thread. I don't mean to hijack but I think this related, and this is real life, none of it made up at all. All us guys who showed up to do our time already knew what A1 was. We had a group "Oh shit".

I'm sure some thought they would get raped, and I must admit that the thought did cross my mind. But when we got in there it was totally different than we thought it would be.

The whole trip of being involved in this situation is near indescribable, so I will refrain now. Questions about it fine, either here or on the other side.

I'm one. I don't 'dress up', I'm not doing this to be a lesbian, not to have sex, but simply for one reason...

.. to be myself and to live my life as me...

The thing is, if I were a man, would I be going through all this, taking hormones and planning the operation?

But you know, I'm just correcting abnormalities caused by a genetic birth defect - this has something to do with my gender, encoded in my brain and my genes which after numerous intensive psychiatric examinations and a long history of difficulties with living in male gender has led the medical profession to declare me female. It's got nothing to do with my sexual orientation nor has it got anything to do with who I am as a human being.

Stella, faery, et al., I just wanted you to know it was a serious question, and I meant no disrespect.  I cannot even begin to fathom being born into the "wrong" body, as I understand it.  I was thinking of the lame joke that straight guys like to say sometimes, "I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body"... and I was thinking, "in this case, is that really the truth? Is that what is going on?"

Thank you for answering my questions.

Cali

If a post-op lesbian trans used a strapon, would that also make her a pre-op hetero trans???

As for what Term said, if only more jails were run like that - or more college campuses for that matter. Transexuals are unfortunately a persecuted lot by many - right down to the point of what restroom they should use and amazingly it seems in many cases biological women are worse to them then men. Maybve its a jealousy thing because a lot of female TS's are downright gorgeous....

I've found DA, that it comes down to how well one passes.

Pass well enough, no one knows and you get no problems. Dont pass well enough, and youre in for trouble.

this was well before i knew i was intersexed...and well before i look like i do now(last 5 years)..now its no problem...and shit..do women ever talk when their in the bathroom...about anything..to anyone...

They generally do in most public restrooms I've been in.  A bit too much at that.

Oh its not leftovers Faery, and its often at the back of the seat and the front. What on earth if that about?

Even hovering, in a position to get the back of the seat wet, one would get one's legs and feet wet too!

I can only relate my experience from one night in the city jail in Atlanta.. Apart from a few laughs all the other prisoners treated me very well and were very friendly, especially when they discovered I was from England. The prison guards were also pretty decent, and when they discovered why I was there in the first place quite sympathetic.

If anything this is what gave me a very positive impression of Americans living in the South, despite the funny way they speak.
