Any time I go into a hardware store I look around and think of what sort of torment I can bring upon pet....do I look at it as though its weird? nope. When I purchase anything at a store, such as a corset, or one day hopefully soon some pallet wrap I'll have a wide ass grin on my face like the chesire cat knowing fully what its for, plus the smile makes the normies worry[:D]~Lorelei

LOL My mother wanted me to go to Home Depot with her. She wanted some small chain to hang some plants up with on her patio. She asked me to go and I was like sure. I was fine walking around trying to behave in Home Depot. We made it to the section that handles all the lovely chains in so many different sizes. I am still trying to behave when the sweetest guy came up and said can I help you. I said sure I need some of this chain and some of that chain. When he dropped to his knees and asked what length I wanted. I could not resist. I spread my arms to the length I wanted and smiled and said from this wrist to this wrist. Then he asked if I needed any more. By this time my mother is giggling {yes she knows about my lifestyle} I just smiled an evil smile and said yes from this ankle to this ankle. The sweet guy crawled over and measure out the length of chain. Needless to say my mother was almost in tears by the time I had my chains bagged up and ready to leave the store. I do this no matter what type of store I am in. I can always find something that has a different use than what they had intended. But I call my favorite store Dom Depot not Home Depot.

I refer to going into a hardware shop, seeing bolts and chains(but not for your garden gate),going into a clothes shop and looking at leather belts (but not to hold your trousers up),ties (but not to wear around your neck, men in womens clothes shops(but not buying clothes for a woman).Do you feel self conscious when buying this stuff, bearing in mind it could be completely for vanilla stuff, but inwardly,YOU know different?!!

not self conscious no, but sometimes i like answering honestly when asked. i've had people make comments about stuff that i'm gettting (like the time that i bought clothesline rope at the grocery store) and i answer to the effect of my partner is a dominant male sadist. the response is generally oh so your dryer broke...so it doesn't bother me much.

I've never been asked about my purchases..even when I bought 10 packages of clothepins at once.

My Lord and I usually shop for these things together, so we are generally in a state of mild arousal while we are doing it.  More likely we are going to sneak off to a corner to neck for a minute then hurry home.  I sometimes wonder if the clerk knows we are up to something, but I look em right in the eye and grin.  [;)]  They're just jealous.

everyone sees the word differently based on their own viewpoint. I'm just enjoying a different facet of a sparkling trinket that we call life.
