It is just a question of curiosity really - have wanted to know since i started to visit into CM. I mean - is it possible to belong to more than one? Damn, i hope the question makes sense.

It's possible to do anything, as long as everyone in it consents. The worlds a big place and there is every situation you can possibly think of in it. I love that about the world, endless possibilities!!

possible... as one of two once, I'll tell you I'd never ever try it again, nor would I recommend it... the person who came out the worst in it was the bottom/sub whatever you want to call them... there are several threads in various forums on this subject

Is it possible? Sure. My question is why would one want to? In practice, I see lots of difficulties. Most Masters have very definite ideas about how they want things done. I woud feel for any slave trying to keep all the requirements straight from one Master to the next. The one way I could see this working would be in a form of polyamorous relationship. A household of several Masters and one or more slaves, where all the Masters co-own all the slaves, and all the slaves are submissive to all the Masters.

there aren't any set twue BDSM rules and protocols set in stone which states 1 submissive/slave per 1 Dominant/Master. if a Dom can have more than 1 submissive/slave, then a submissive/slave can serve more than 1 Dom. i have one DaddyDom yet own 2 pets.

I keep having to say this - there is no rulebook. You make it up as you go along. You do what you want to do. And "possible" can mean a lot of things, you might want to elaborate a little bit as to what you mean...

Sure it's possiable, would I let someone also belong to someone else NO. If you are mine you are mine alone. This would be real time of couse, anything is possiable in cyber since it's not real to me. Mike

i think that it is possible (however we are spelling that word today ~lol~)....but requires the two dominants to have very clear communication and for everyone to be very invested in making things work for everyone. There are some poly households out there that i know of that have more than one Dominant, but a very clear "chain of command" so to speak, that seem to work well. All of that said, while i am by nature poly, i don't think that two Dominants is something that i would choose for myself in terms of relationship. i have done "scenes" with another Dominant joining my own and that worked well, of course, it is very clear in that case to whom my submission and obedience is owed. But, in terms of a relationship, while i know there are people who make it work, i don't see myself as one of them.

Here is a situation I knew of a few years back. I met the slave and we became good friends so I know it to be true. A female slave met/married her Master. He eventually took a job overseas for almost 2 years. Realizing her needs, he agreed to having a freind of hers be her Sir to fill in for him while he was gone. I found it unusual but it seemed to work for them. The great part was nothing was ever kept from the Master. They spoke or emailed daily and he was aware of every form of play that went on. (never sex) He even "mentored" her Sir over the phone/pc to help develope him/his skills further. This arrangement worked great for them and when her Master came home the three remained close friends. What I admired most was the amount of trust between asia and her Master, the great communication they had, and that the other Dominant was truly a friend and never tried to take advantage of the situation. He found a sub of his own but still continued asia's scene's until her Master arrived. Never knew of anyone else to have this type of arrangement but I admired the three of them for their above board honesty and respect for the M/s relationship that asia and John (Master) had.

I remember a similar thread in the gorean section where a 2 domme couple had a submissive. Many Dom/Dom Dom/Domme Domme/Domme couples exist. Some co-own their slaves some have seperate. As long as all parties involved are happy and healthy in the sense that they arnt being taken advantage of and such and it works. It work. I prefer a one on one situation because it works for me. Though I could see the advantages of having two men ... Im going to go over there for a little but[sm=flying.gif]

Does everyone involved know? Can you keep everyone and their rules straight? i am sure that it is possible, but why would you want to unless you are looking for a poly relationship? You should understand they dynamics of each individual relationship first and then decide? Do you have a purpose in keeping more than one Master? Ultimately the choice is yours, but keeping track of who wants what and when, can get very hairy at times. Just be careful and i would suggest that you dont' keep secrets. i am sure that no one said you "can't" do it, just that you should be careful about it, because it can be very complicated and messy. Particularily when no one knows of the other. In any event, the choice is yours, and ultimately in the end you have to do what you have to do, live with your choices and be happy with them. To all others ... who cares?
