i was wondering today ...why did you pick the picure you have here on Collarme as your avatar? i picked mine because i feel it captures my essence and because i love being in water.

I chose my pic as my aviator because it was at a time when alot of folks here were changing theirs/I thought I'd be a team player :)) Besides, the system generated aviator I had chosen was someone else's also/it was a little unnerving to view their post and think it was mine!

I don't have one...or do I? My dom chose a photo of me a while back. I think cm deleted it because it wasn't on my profile. So, now, no avatar and I really don't care to put my photo on my profile, had it there at one time. It attracted too much unwanted attention. I'd put a comic up in place, but last time I tried I was told no comics or copyrighted images. So, no avatar for me...unless I'd use a stock one...ewww...no.

i choose mine because i like the 1920's and the Art Deco decorating style. Also, it seemed to be a little "fluffy".

because it's me. lol and Darcyandthedark (I'm not sure which one actually took the pic..they were both going nuts with the cameras..LOL) took the pic. I decided I needed a more recent pic than the one I had been using.

i think the stock avatars are very cool...most of them anyway. all the ones the people who have responded are using i like alot. and Fairy...i have this feeling your's captures your essence beautifully. LadyFirerain, so very cool, i imagine it is like coming home when you are owned by the Dominant when the big click has happened. Asher, you do look thoughtful and like you could be one of the Beatles in their day. fluffy gotta love the 20's..it would have been so fun on the dance floor in those days with all that taboo booze. i find photos so interesting in the way that some capture how you see yourself...you are able to feel your essence through them. and some well it is you no denying it, but it just does not look like what you think you look like. say that sentence fast 6 times...lol thank you to all who have shared. i really like gettng insights into why people make the choices they do. may we all find our bliss, everhope (brenda)

I chose mine because I didn't want someone to judge my comments based on my beauty - or lack of it. (After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.) Hearts have always meant a lot to me, but I didn't choose it to symbolize romantic love. For me the lifestyle includes more than physical and mental - it includes the giving of my heart to both my chosen one and to the basic concepts of the lifestyle - trust, communication, honesty. I have never felted as much fulfillment in my life as I have in the past few months. I have given my heart in vanilla relationships, but I have never had a relationship founded on so much trust that I could willingly turn over mind, heart, soul and body. I never thought I would feel that I could give my soul to anyone. It is not a romantic love that I feel, but something deeper. I chose the avatar I did to stand for both the fact that I can often see into people more deeply than they ever expect and that I do it for pure reasons, not for my own gain. I want to use my fulfillment and happiness to help others to find theirs.
